Lite and fast
Its fast! It works great with my m18 drill.Check all bolts before using some were lose on mine. Also notice after drilling at least 20 8" holes the adapter shaft is showing signs of wear were the drill chuck mounts must not be harded steel or stainless. Yes the chuck is on tight!

Good product but needs lock-tight on the screw and bolts before you use it.
Good product but the need to know what lock-tight is. The set screw holding the drive unit and safety plate has a set screw that keeps backing out. I was on a long fishing trip and had to tighten after every use. By the end of the trip we ended up loosing the screw on the ride out fishing.

Lightweight Efficient ice auger
I used this ice auger 100s of times this winter. If you have a powerful enough drill you will cut through the ice like butter. The blades are strong and the auger is lightweight. It is super easy to use. I recommend using a drill that has an additional handle on it to make holding the auger a little easier. I use the auger on the lower speed setting on my drill. The faster setting will spin it right out of your hands.

Great auger with the use of a good drill!
Very nice auger when used with a good drill. Comes with sharp blades. I tried using my masterforce (Menards brand) brushless drill with 5.0ah batteries and it did not have enough torque and the drill started smoking. I decided to not screw around and went with the best so I bought a Milwaukee fuel hammer drill with 5.0ah batteries and it drilled through 10-12 inches of ice in under 5 seconds on speed 1. I drilled probably 15-20 holes in one day and it didn’t even use half of a battery. I’m sure a regular brushless drill from Milwaukee or dewalt would work as well. Definitely recommend!

Awesome!
This auger is great. This is the first auger that I've had that wasn't the old hard crank. I use it in a ryobi 18v hammer drill. It fits in the chuck easily, its very light and it honestly cuts through ice like a hot knife through butter. It effortlessly drilled through 9-12 inches of ice this season in a matter of seconds. I've been so pleased with it that I've been looking into more of their gear. And prior to my purchase I was a little hesitant because I hadn't heard of the brand before, but it is an excellent piece of equipment.

Wowzers
Wow! That’s what I said when I used this thing. I put it in my Dewalt drill and tested it out. 7 seconds to drill through 13” of ice. 7 easy, smooth sailing, grin invoking seconds. Done. The blades are razor sharp! I ended up drilling 20 holes and my 5AH battery only decreased by one bar.If you have a decent cordless drill, don’t waste your time with anything else. You NEED this. I even put the cool sticker they included on my ice sled!

Best on a budget bit auger.
Biggest thing is to, TAKE CARE OF IT! Be cautious of shallow drilling, keep the knife guard on when not in use and keep plastic auger from crushing and this will last for a long time. super sharp and glides through the ice. Highly recommended

Works awesome
But it you won’t regret it. Fastest holes I’ve ever put in 2ft of ice. Mind you it’s the 6 inch. But I’m usually fishing brook trout which is perfect for those. But I’m sure the 8 inch works just as good. I’m using the 20v dewalt 1/2 chuck drill and it just flys through the ice. Definitely buy if you have a descent drill.
