I bought this 6-7 months ago, and quite enjoying the protection it supplies. It fits perfectly and it is not effecting the airflow and heat dissapation in normal conditions. But I just realized that if I run something that is using lots of CPU/GPU power (compiling code for 10+ minutes, 3D rendering etc.) my Macbook Pro 16 M1 Pro gets a little hotter than normal as the plastic is isolating the heat and not transferring it as much as the aluminum body can. It is not a huge difference and you wouldn't possibly feel it in normal usage conditions... heck even I'm realizing this after 6-7 months of usage... and I just removed it until my heavy CPU/GPU work is done and will put it back... I'll definitelly recommend this... but I would like you to know where it is weak(er)...

All functionally and aesthetically good except for the fact that it's not possible to remove finger marks off with the provided cloth, so it looked grubby after using it for a day. Tried some diluted washing up liquid but it seemed to take the powder coating off it. Needs a wipe-easy coating.

I bought this product for my MacBook Pro 13 inch Retina to replace the old Speck case which has reached the end of its life after 8 years. This case is a poor replacement, while it is approximately the correct size the base has no rear corner protection and is loose once fitted which is as much use as a cat flap in a submarine. I would expect more from a product costing £21.99 with £2.00 postage to protect a valued laptop.

This is a lovely piece of kit and replaces my now very old 17” MacBook Pro. Although I miss the slightly larger screen of the old laptop in every other respect this 16” one is vastly superior. Very happy with our purchase.

This is an excellent soft touch hardshell case for an older (mid-2012) 15" MacBook Pro with CD/DVD drive. Easy to install, looks great.

Can't say enough about this cover. I have an older updated MacBook 2009. I bought this case because the original top cover had a crack in it. I love this cover. I bought the keyboard cover from the Allinside Store on Amazon. The only reason why I didn't the keyboard cover package from this store is because it would have arrived later.

The case I received doesn't fit that well. The top is continually slipping off at the back. I have make sure not to pick it up a certain way. And the material marks very easily. Fingerprints are difficult to remove. I've had other cases in the past I've like much better. I won't buy another one of these.

Not sure if all of these hard shell cases are sold by the same vendor through different resellers, but the one I purchased through this listing is not recommended. If you're able to get it on a 16" MBP, consider it a one time use item. I picked this up originally to protect a work laptop. Basically I have to exchange it due to issues, and began using a thin ~1mm plastic pry tool (like a guitar pic) to remove the shell, but it cracked as soon as I freed two corners.I have another brand for my personal 15" MBP and I was able to attach and remove it without issues. Probably bad QC for this one.If you want to only use it once, go ahead and risk it, but I don't recommend.
