Special Ed administrators and parents often want special ed teachers to teach signing, but, of course, no one actually tells you how to do this or gives you any materials to use to teach signing. These songs are perfect for teaching signing to special needs students. Most of the songs are very funny, yet they are simple and repetitive enough to teach signing. The album does include 2 or 3 babyish songs about changing diapers and such, but the rest of the songs are perfect. In the booklet that is sometimes included (be sure that you are buying both the booklet and the CD) the pictures for the signs are included. Of course you can't sign every word of the song. You are not supposed to. For every line of the lyrics only one or two signs need to be made. If you sing the songs and make the signs, the kids will soon be imitating you. The music is very good and very catchy. It even includes a Elvis style song which always makes my paras laugh. Such a nice, simple, fun way to teach signing.

Book appeared to be new and included CD!!!! :) Very pleased with this purchase. Of all the copies of this book I purchased, this was definitely the best! Thank you. Use 12 of the 20 songs with my preschool to 3rd grade music classes. They are fun and the students enjoy them, especially the animal songs like Tiger Walking or Let;s go to the Zoo. They also like the songs with a lot of movement like jumping up and down. Other songs are definitely for the baby in your life (like please change my diaper!) Have purchased extra copies to share with preschool and other music teachers. This copy went to preschool :) Thanks for sending such a nice one!

I bought this somewhat hesitantly, knowing I wanted the material, but not entirely sure I would be able to stand the songs being sung. I was pleased with the quality of the music. It is fun for kids and doesn't make me want to run from the room with my hands over my ears like some children's music does. The guide is comprehensive and tells you how to use the signs depending on the child's age. If you want to teach your baby asl, then you must have this CD! :)

Seriously? I bought a this CD thinking I would get, if nothing else, 20 fun songs for my granddaughter, What I got instead was a CD with no songs at all, but just an advertisement for a website. I did get a book "Pick Me Up: Fun Songs for Learning ASL Signs", but the book alone is certainly not worth 36.95,

This book/CD goes for $36 on the publisher's site, and that's how much they were charging in the class too. We got it here for $23. I haven't looked at the extra stuff on the CD (I guess there's some files that if you put the CD into your computer, it comes up with the signs for the songs...maybe it's a video?), but we like to play the songs, even if we're not signing them. I play it mostly when giving my son a bath...at least then, he's a captive audience!

I just received this program and so far I love it. I especially like where Garcia signs Brand New Day. I wish he signed all of them. I do not have a CD rom but there are many features you can access through the CD Rom so maybe I will find it there. This and Signing Time are my favorites.I am not deaf but am now taking a coarse in signing to teach my children in Korea Enlglish and this is a great way to do it.

Great buy! My son goes to Weehands for learning purposes. Some of the songs we sang in the class are on the cd. He loves it. We even listen and sign in the car!!!

It did not come with the CD as it said and I am very disappointed. I can't find a way to get the music CD either.

I love the songs and my daughter too. Easy to use with the signs pictured in the book. My daughter uses a lots of them, mostly the food signs.

本は絵が沢山あってサインがとても分かりやすいし、沢山のサインが分かります。でも、CDの曲はアメリカナイズされた感じで、ちょっと難しい感じです。何回も聞いて聞きなれれば、大丈夫かも知れませんが、好みが分かれるかも。
