(12/24/2023, A year ago, I missed the fact you have to "balance" the horizontal movement (swivel ?) by tilting the handle slightly to one side, then the other, adjusting the slider until equal movement is achieved on each side (balance in this order: front back tilt, vertical, left/right, horizontal swivel). 12/24/2023 I added an extra "heavy" tripod screw to the camera plate, to the right of center of the camera, close to the gimbal motor, which helped balance left/right considerably.).'(12/24/2023 The longer I have used Gimbals, integrated gimbal/video cameras, and drones with gimbals, the experience has taught me much in the last year. 12/24/2023 for future gimbal purchases, I think I will go with systems that support 50-100% more than my intended gear, with plenty of adjustment room. 12/24/2023 For the price, and with my recent adjustments listed above, this gimbal will meet most of my needs)..(12/24/2023 This gimbal is supposed to support 4 pounds, and my Nikon D7500 DX DLSR with 18-55mm AF-P DX lens, and battery is only about 2.1 pounds, but this seems to be at the upper limit of what this gimbal can handle, also, not enough room on the camera mounting bracket to slide the camera more to the right for more balancing options, hence the use of the extra, heavy, tripod screw closer to the gimbal motor.).I could not balance the Gimbal with the Nikon 18-80mm F2.8-4 zoom lens, despite being under the four pound weight (about 3.2 LBS total) supposedly allowed on this Gimbal (the lens shifts the center of gravity forward considerably compared to the shorter and lighter AF-P lens). I suspect the actual limit supported by the Gimbal is closer to 3 than 4 pounds..As expected, the gimbal does not control the camera (12/24/2023 start/stop record) because the Nikon D7500 does not easily support external controls for start/stop video recording zoom, etc., except when using Nikon's SnapBridge on a smartphone, however, it is difficult to hold the Gimbal and phone (12/24/2023 I just press the record button on the camera to start/stop recording when using this gimbal)..The Gimbal works great with my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (bought the adapter for smartphones which connects to the Gimbal's included baseplate). (12/24/2023 I have since bought an integrated video camera/gimbal which avoids the interruptions of incoming calls/texts when using a SmartPhone on a Gimbal). I tried using the "ZY Play" App but did not like the four pages of EULA and convoluted wireless connecting process, so I deleted it from the phone (I am great with electronics and software, being a Data Analyst). Most commercial video like TV shows, rarely use zoom and are short clips edited together from various angles which I intend to emulate for home videos. The main thing for me is that this Gimbal allows me to easily add steady camera movement to my repertoire..Sure, I could buy a Nikon mirrorless body (12/24/2023 lighter weight?) but having bought Nikon gear since the 1970s, I have too many Nikon F mount lenses to replace by buying a new system (12/24/2023 Just realized that only one of my many lenses, the Nikon 15-55mm AF-P DX) works on my Nikon D7500 DX body with this Gimbal, everything else is too "front heavy"..

The Product looks great, it feels great coming out the box, but It had some major issues depending on the camera you’re using because it’s not all DSLR camera friendly. I have the Sony zve10 and where the placed certain turn knobs just made it difficult to get set up.Also the axis was not as great as I though It would beIt had a lot of play in the mechanics after I mounted the camera and set the axis as instructed

this gimbal was good but just not for my camera. my cannon rebel t7 did not fit and did not have the right port for the cord to be able to start videoing from the gimbal.

The media could not be loaded. I love this gimbal that works with my mirrorless camera, phones and GoPro!! The price is great!! It is small and light so easy to fit in my bag. I had a time to balance with my phone 13 pro Max. Once it balance it absolutely fantastic to use. It also help a lot with building LED light. That is very cool feature.Personally I am a house Booker. I did a lot of listing of houses. So I shoot a lot of videos that make the houses come out looks nice!!First I plan to buy a gimbal for my phone. But finally I found the M2s. For me something I need to shoot with my camera for the better quality. When I saw the M2s it fit everything for me. I am happy the price..small with a lot of great features!!
