Cats Love Them
I have one cat who absolutely loves these. Amazon wants me to rate these for durability and sturdiness and I gave them 5 stars for that because they are durable and sturdy for what they are. However, my cat "hunts" these little mice, so she chews on them and eventually "skins" them. So, this big box comes in very hand and they are definitely cheaper in the larger pack. And they have little rattles inside which make them far more interesting to the cat. The bright colors are also definitely preferred over the dull gray and white ones I frequently find at the retail stores. My cat really loves the colors -- pink is a favorite.

PAWS DOWN, ZANIES RAINBOW MICE ARE MEOW FAVORITE
Okay guys, I will be the first to admit, I really am not the experienced cat owner. I had one cat a decade ago that I loved to death, he came and went as he pleased, usually only ~stopping by~ to see me for a few hours after sundown and the occasional daytime visit (when he seemed utterly bored with the outside world). I only owned him for 3 1/2 short years before his premature demise via automobile. I was barely 17 at the time (please excuse my teenage laissiez faire attitude towards good cat husbandry) and maybe if I had endless supplies of these little colorful mice all those years ago, well maybe that cat would have hung around more, and missed the anxious parents in long lines trying to get their children to elementary school on time.So that's my prior cat experience. Sad. But. True. However, my husband and I recently adopted a kitten from an Animal Care And Regulation Center, i.e., the pound. He was approximately five months old when we adopted him, and filled to the brim with energy.I went into the gift shop located inside the animal care and regulation center and pretty much bought that little kitten every single little cat toy, collar, treat, memento, bell&whistle, rattler, singer, flasher, and dancer. Even a slim little red nylon rope, advertised as a leash for cats. (Which I promptly lost and have mixed feelings about anyway.). I BOUGHT EVERYTHING!And guess what my little kitten, now formally known as Norway, LOVED the most? The bright yellow Zanies Mouse.Which he decidedly hunted with the clumsy accuracy of his kitten self. Chewing and scratching off the rosy felt ears, the beady button black eyes -and somewhere in there the red Pom-Pom nose and comical leather tail. All the while the tiny little innards of the toy rattled away, akin to what I would image a Beebee pellet would sound like inside a ping-pong ball. He played (we played) until he slumped in exhaustion. When the yellow one was obliterated after a few days of intensive play .... Then the beautiful jeweled shade of turquoise Zanies Mouse became Norway's new favorite. Then another bright yellow Zanies Mouse... A hot pink one... A shockingly intense shade of orange after that... An emerald green... Another canary yellow... And finally my last jeweled shade of turquoise mouse. I selfishly wanted to tuck that cyan work of art away in a jewelry box as some kind of keep sake, it was so beautiful and soft! But I couldn't. I enjoyed seeing my kitten having so much fun! I was even shocked and delighted to see my husband teaching Norway to play fetch with Norway's favorite toy, Zanies Rainbow Mice! Seriously, my husband tosses a rainbow mouse down the wood floor of our hallway, and that little kitten takes off to catch it and carries it back to him in his mouth. It's hilarious. And adorable. However, at this point I was out of those freaking amazing mice, sort of. I had picked up a few BLACK ones, they looked exactly the same in every aspect, I'd even gotten them out of the same cardboard cheese wedge bin in the gift shop. They were still Zanies mice, made with rabbit skin! But there was one giant problem. The black mice did not rattle. Our kitten Norway wanted absolutely nothing to do with them. They just didn't strike his interest.Luckily, when the stash of rainbow mice had gotten about halfway down, I took notice. And had already found this AMAZING DEAL ON AMAZON, Right? I could buy a 10 for $13.99 ($1.39 a piece) on Amazon. Or a dozen for $8.95 ($0.74 a piece) on Amazon. Or 20 for $12.35 ($0.61 a piece) on Amazon....Or 60 for $28.21 on Amazon with Free Prime shipping and a cute little cheese wedge to store them in. That's only $0.47 a mouse!!!! Unless prices drop, or other numerical amounts show up with free shipping that's the best deal you can get.I'm even marinating some in a mason jar with Cat-Nip on my kitchen windowsill, it's actually a pretty cute decoration ;)#######BOTTOM LINE: ZANIES RAINBOW MICE ARE THE BEST!

Disappointing - see comments for an update on this item
I ordered this item for my cat who loves the Zanie mice. The description stated 60 rainbow mice with rattles inside - Only 5 of the mice had rattles inside and my cat won't even look at these toys!Company needs better quality control on their items.***Update to my earlier review - I contacted the seller with my complaint and they QUICKLY replaced this product with a new version. Every mouse had rattles in them! I appreciate the quick and efficient customer service and help with my order. I would highly recommend this item and this seller after this experience.

... my cats are crazy destructive when it comes to most of their toys and they LOVE these toys!
If your cats are like mine, they're somewhat destructive when it comes to their toys. They LOVE their toys to DEATH! Or to pieces, rather.I was constantly picking up new toys every time I was at Walmart or a pet store. Always. Even if I was there three days in a row (hey, it happens!), I would get them new toys each time because they went through them so quickly! Finally I stumbled over a retail listing of cat toys on Amazon. What luck! I could get 60 toys for under $30! Walmart was charging almost $10 for a pack of five! This was totally worth it!Now I will say this... If you are buying these for actual retail use (ie: to sell in your own store), I recommend against it. Yes, they come pre-tagged and in a cute display box, but they're also not something that I personally would buy on an individual basis. These could maybe work as a "donate a shelter pet a toy" kind of thing, I guess. But they're not very well made and it shows. Why do I buy them, then? Well, as I've said, my cats are crazy destructive when it comes to most of their toys and they LOVE these toys! If the tail comes off after three days (which they often do), it's not that big a deal - I throw the tail away. When the skin starts coming off, I trim it down. When the skin is already partially off their brand new mouse? No big deal, it's one of 60 - I can trim it down before letting them have it. :-D All in all, it definitely worth the purchase for an individual who keeps kitty toys in stock like I do. My babies, the fosters I've had, and the shelter cats I've shared with love them. Be warned, though, I mentioned that they come pre-tagged, so I hope you're prepared to remove 60 tags from 60 mice before letting your kitties have at them! I personally de-tag them all before putting them in the stock storage bin (the one toy box the cats do not have free access to) so that I don't have to do it later.

Perfect real fur mice for kittens or cats.
These mice are a huge hit and price per mouse is great. It was about $0.47 per mouse when I bought these. I foster kittens and when one is adopted I send them home with a couple of these. Consistently, I am told they remain a kitten/cat favorite. I have even been asked where I got them as adopters have wanted to buy more. Not many kittens fetch but when they do, it’s with these real fur mice. My own cats love these. I had to put the box up as one of my cats that does fetch would break into the box and bring me a different mouse every day. My other cat carries one around in her mouth and won’t share it. She knows HER mouse from others of same color. She’s weird. I would highly recommend as it meets all my requirements: Real fur, rattles, durable and sized for kitten and cats (not too big or small)

“Unethical” fur mice for the win!!!
These fur mice rock my kitties world!!! We used to be able to get fur mice like these years ago but I’m guessing animal rights activists got involved (as they’re made with real rabbit fur, which I choose to believe came from rabbits who went peacefully in their sleep after a long and happy life surrounded by their countless offspring...) But in all seriousness, there’s no comparison - these “unethical” fur mice are waaaaay better than the felt, faux fur, or other versions. Cats can tell the difference. Two paws up!

Five Stars
Great product, my cats favorite toys. They love the shaker inside. They won't chase a mouse that doesn't rattle.
