perfect fit
My X button was not responding as it should, so I ordered this as a precaution before taking it all apart. Turns out there was a little piece of the old one's rubber that had wormed it's way into the center of the X button sensor and stuck there. Ultimately didn't need to replace, but did anyway so I could review, and because why not. This thing is cheap, worked perfectly, fit perfectly, and now my controller is back to new.The takedown on the controller was....daunting, and reassembly was probably worse. You'll need a small torx set, small flathead, and patience.Good Luck!

Perfect
My sons controller was having A button issues. Replaced the damamged part and now it works perfectly. I'm happy they sell these on here. Saved me from buying a new one.

"B" button now pops back up again.
Button was sticking. Took it apart, cleaned well, still stuck. Put this in and the Xbox S controller works great again. I recommend buying a took kit specifically with the right bits to work on the controller, as they are finnicky to work on and cumbersome without the absolutely correct and unusual screwdriver bits. Watch the little vibrator devices when you open up the controller as they just sit in place and if they drop they will pull the wires off. Hence I recommend having a soldering kit available too.I gave it 5 stars on easy to install as I have some experience, the correct tools, and any difficulties are not due to the part but rather the controller.

Got me back in the game...
Exactly as advertised. As long as you can stomach completely disassembling your XBox controller, this will fix your sticking buttons. My "A" button was sticking after many, many Rocket League sessions - the original rubber pad was torn around one of the conductive buttons. It fix exactly like the original part I was replacing. It shipped in a small ziploc back in a large, flat, padded envelope. I really only have one very minor complaint...the ziploc bag was a *hair* too short for the piece, so it was ever-so-slightly curled in the middle when locked in the bag. It wasn't enough to make it permanently deformed once removed from the bag, so I can overlook that. I was definitely happy to save $60+ on a new controller. As a side note, it's totally possible to completely pull the controller apart without cutting any wires. The rumble motor and trigger wires (there are 4 wires on each side) are pesky little buggers; but with patience you can save yourself the trouble of re-soldering them back together later.

Not as good as the original rubber.
Opened up my controller to put this in and realized mine just needed to be clean. Out of curiosity I compared the two pads and Microsoft's original rubber is by far superior to this poor replication. This pad bottoms out and has poor return rate, making the buttons feel mashy and unresponsive at the worst. Microsoft's feel snappy and never fully bottom out and always return immediately. Microsoft's pad is actually a half gram heavier than this replacement, meaning it is denser and higher quality. I would get a refund if it were more than a few bucks. I would look for a higher quality product if your gaming includes Rocket League or other games that require some mashing.

A perfect replacement for faulty pads
My old pad was damaged and this replaced it perfectly.

Got the job done
Used this to fix my friend’s newer model Xbox controller, the part was the perfect size but didn’t have the exact same pattern in the rubber as the broken one did.Made the Xbox button not fit, so I had to carefully cut both button pads’s tops and switch in the intact old one so the button would fit on.The xbox button is now a little looser but all in all the controller is good as new

Power button contact is too small to work
After installing, the controller wouldn't power up with the power button. After many dis-assemblies & comparisons to the OEM membrane, we found the carbon pad for the power button is too small to make a connection. It's about 1/2 the diameter of the original. We had to cut the old power button membrane off the OEM & install along the new one. The " A " button pad had broken away which is why we purchased this replacement.
