I think I am the first buyer of this speaker system because I placed the order within minutes of its launch now I feel the onus is on me to give unbiased detailed review to help others.Before I begin, I must mention that I have several audio systems so I am in a good position to do justice in reviewing this new zebronics BT800ruf and draw a good comparison to evaluate price to performance ratio. Here is the list of speakers that I have1. Obage ht1442. Obage dt213. Infinity hard rock 2104. Mulo arena 6000 soundbar 5.Very old zebronics 4.16. Edifier d12 table top speakerAnd now this zebronics BT800ruf.In portable category, I own tribit max sound plus, realme brick and sony xb23.One has to be very clear about one's expectations before choosing a system. People usually end up giving bad reviews for a good product just because they didn't consider what they needed. Lets come to review, The sound signature of bt800ruf is nearly perfect. There is negligible or no sound distortion even at full volume. It comes with 6 preset equaliser modes.treble is very soothing and vocals are crystal clear, bass is deep and punchy but sometimes felt out of proportion,I had to slightly reduce the bass from knob. Placing of sound system and acoustics of room plays a major role in what you hear. I had to change bass and treble each time when I changed the placing of speaker. It is universally true for all speakers. A good speaker can soud very bad if not properly placed and tuned as per speaker placing. It is not always advisable to place speaker at floor and in corners as it makes the bass boomy(some may like it) I placed it at 2 feet above floor on a solid wood table and the audio was mesmerizing and perfectly toned. The overall sound appeared rich and premium just like my edifier d12 speaker. The size of system is not so big and doesn't take much space, perfectly portable upto an extent because it has all speakers packed in single unit( I ordered it for this sole reason). This shouldn't be compared with any multi-channel home theatre, soundbars. It sounds differently because the the 2 channel speaker are placed just 5-6cm apart. It will not satisfy the need of users who are looking for dhoom dhadaka and doesn't care much about richness of sound. The loudness is sufficient for upto 200sqft. Sound is very soothing and doesn't scratches the ears like local built speakers.I was amazed with the clarity of the full range speakers. Out of curiosity I managed to check the brand of speaker drivers and found that it is equipped with premium Sunvoice speakers(real factor behind its rich sound) Sunvoice is leading and very famous electronics manufacturer since 1984 in partnership with a Japanese electronics company.This is a complete made in India product (mentioned on box with factory address) made by Zebronics itself by outsourcing quality components from brands like sunvoice, link etc. This speaker is very unique in its own ways, the Speaker unit looks simple and premium, very similar to the aesthetics of Philips audio systems. The top plate is made of transparent acrylic and it looks amazing. Its finishing gives an impression that this time zebronics has used top notch quality components. The main power cable is very thick and durable, made by Link (famous for locks and hardware). I am impressed by the overall built quality.It comes with a fully functional very good quality remote. the button pressing feedback is very good and tactile, similar to alexa remote.Remote comes withSystem volume control, Mic volume control, treble control, bass control, input selection,karaoke recording along with all other regular controls.Mic Echo control is given on panel itself(a bit tricky to find).not on remote.Mic quality is good, echo and volume controls are also present. Perfectly fine for karaoke beginners. Some may feel mic volume is a bit low but it seems justified when used with karaoke music, vocals comes in a perfect balanced tone with input karaoke music. It will satisfy the need of a beginner and I didn't find any problem here..I enjoyed singing without any issues. Mic clarity was ok without shrillness and noise. Karaoke works with all the inputs including Bluetooth.(shouldn't be compared with above 10K karaoke systems)Comparision with other speakers : Obage speakers also sounds good for their price..but the main problem with obage or any other local delhi based brand is that they lacks reliability and finishing. They are usually shoddily made with average quality parts.Obage ht144 sounds very good in 2.1 speaker category but looking at its generic quality remote, corner finishing main unit, the speakers used, poor quality plug and power cable..you will get a feeling of lack of quality and a local built that doesn't look premium.Infinity hardrock 210 has amazing built+ durability+ crystal clear sound..but doesn't offer much controls.Who should consider buying zebronics bt800ruf?If you are looking for a premium built semi-portable speaker that doesn't takes much space, offers quality audio with karaoke function.This is for you... consider it as a slightly bigger bookshelf speakers or tabletop speaker perfect for pure audio listening.(comparing it with my edifier d12). There is no other speaker available under 5000 with such quality. It certainly enhances the overall look of the living room.Who should stay away?This is not a replacement of a TV soundbar or a multi-channel home theatre. It can be used with TV and it works perfectly but you will miss proper stereo effects. If you need 2.1, 4.1 or soundbar, don't consider this.This is not an outdoor speaker, if you need an ultra loud speaker then kindly choose other local brands..like obage, tronica, krisons techxwoo etc. They also offer good value for money products but realiability is questionable.Final verdict : It's price is justified given to the quality it offers. I have 6 years old 70W zebronics 4.1 speaker working perfectly, it is still available at 3200rs on amazon. The question is why should I pay 5000rs for 50W speaker when 70W to 100W speakers are available at 3000-4000Rs. The answer is quality components cost more..the quality sound comes at a price.Hope this will help.

overall system performance is quiet good. But the recording facility is not at all good and there are major defect in this regard.1.Whyle recording, there is automatic jumping in a frequency of ever one minutes2.After recording, that will play automatically. If you wanted to record again ,you will have to back to Bluetooth and set including volume again3.In all options, the system volume will start from high only4.There is no manual option for recording. Once you lost the remote control, you will not get to have recording.5.All options are in the top of the system is not a way of professional mannerSince it is an Indian product, you can make the options user friendly instead of confusing operationsK.UnnikrishnanThrissur

An appealing design, an excellent sound and an excellent karaoke singing feature at such a reasonable price. I bought it at rs. 5100.For karaoke singing please adjust the echo level, bass level, volume of mic and audio volume. These adjustments will provide you an outstanding output.This system is good enough to entertain an area of 600 to 900 Sq ft if you place it in the center. I am happy with the karaoke singing as well.

Really I like the quality of FM reception. Treble & Bass are ok. Bluetooth connectivity is excellent. I have not tried KARAOKE as I have not received mic.

I purchased this because of simple look as compared to others. Speaker sound and bass quality is good. Bluetooth connectivity, 🎤 output also good.Easy to clean.
