These work fine but are smaller than I expected for outdoor use. They are cheerful but do not make a very bright display. Also the timer is just an on/off button, and no directions for use or variations. This is not a feature I wanted, so I am OK with the lights, and more importantly they seem to be standing up to our wet weather. However, next year I may buy something more striking for outside, and move these indoors.

Love the colors of these lights! They are bright and work great! I can usually get almost a month out of a charge. Purchased 4 sets and will likely pick up more. I love the fact that they have purple lights!

Not too bad. A little expensive for what they are, I spent $18.99. The lights are bright but they go through batteries pretty quickly. Got these and put them up December 6th. Less than 2 weeks later they needed new batteries. During the holiday season, expect to replace your batteries at least once. The timer function works great and there are many different light modes, flashing, always on and such.

We didn't have high hopes for these because they were so inexpensive. You know, sometimes you are pleasantly surprised. They have been wrapped around the deck rails since the day we got them, amd are still using the same set of batteries. The timer function works well, the battery case has remained water tight (amd we have been getting killed with rain and have had a few inches of snow. I can't say one bad thing about them and we will probably order a bunch more because we have decided the larger lights really do look good.

Love the vintage look of the lights. Timer works perfectly. However, the lights do burn through batteries fairly fast. In the month of December, I've replaced the batteries (good quality) twice whereas other battery operated sets I have are going strong on the 1st set of batteries.

So the description suggests you get rechargeable batteries. This is key. I got the high capacity batteries from amazonbasics and they lasted about three/four days on the timer function. I liked being able to set it and forget it. If I used regular batteries... it would have been too expensive! Other than that I loved the colors and the settings. It was perfect for my mailbox since I didn’t want a cord going across my lawn.

Perfect for a bright and festive Christmas Tree. They are a great size while having lots of color. The purple adds something special and the shape is similar to big house bulbs and make your tree pop with color! I also love that these are on a timer. Makes it so easy to not have to plug and unplug everyday! Highly recommend!
