Best of many I've tried - keep a pipe wrench handy
RATINGS - After getting burned several times by formerly-excellent brands (of anything, including drain opener) that drastically reduced quality recently, we've learned to check the PERCENTAGE of 1-star ratings. 8%'s pretty good, and yes, we've encountered several of the hassles presented there, but we can definitively say that Most Others Have Been Far Worse.GOTCHAS - Absolutely correct about not being able to get past the adult-proof lid on the second and likely third opening. Keep a pipe wrench nearby, grip the lid in the wrench with the nondominate hand on the handle and thumb pushing down on the center of the lid, while the jug is stable on the floor, then turn the jug under it by the fandle about 6 times, and it comes off reliably. No problem after the 3nd time - you can usually just turn the handle easy after that.SNAKE - And yes, one application is never enough, and we definitely need a snake/augur (not a "grabber" unless you're trying to rescue something - we just want to move our Clog on to the bigger pipes). We have two different 5' snakes with "springs" at the end, and each works a little differently.DON'T DELAY - Between 10 minutes and two days after the first sudden stop mid-flush, we can clear the line in a half-hour by alternating Gobbler and Snake several times. The more we contribute to the pot before snaking, the harder it is to clear, sometimes up to a week of overnight waits, but Industrial Gobbler has always eventually worked.TYPE OF CLOG - Our Clogs are almost always caused by our own personal output, and we can extend the time between Clogs by being consistent about our Magnesium ("Mg") input from supplements and foods, particularly Prunes and Apples, which are big on Malic Acid, which facilitates movement in the Colon. A days worth of output is always smaller than 2 days worth.MAGNESIUM - Search the internet for "Micozzi magnesium." Dr. Marc Micozzi MD PhD has a definitive article on different Mg compounds in supplements & how each impacts many different body systems and health. We choose Mg supplements carefully by expected health impact and cost, and tally daily total Mg intake via supplements, till trial and success moves us, adding or subtracting till we average close to daily. Now Clogs only occur after disruptions in our Mg/Prune/Apple schedule.FOODS - Except for Prunes & Apples, we don't tally our Mg intake from food, too complicated. Among other sources, George Mateljan's encyclopedic cross-reference of foods, nutrients, and recipes (Amazon sells it even though it's out of print) is handy for guessing if your usual Mg from food might provide too little or too much Mg (or other nutrients), but how often you're inspired to clear your colon without much effort is easier and more accurate (once a day is our guideline to add or reduce Mg, but every body's different, circumstances can change frequently, and your healthcare people will have important input. Your guideline will be very different, but to start I eat 2-3 soaked Prunes - cover with water, boil, turn off heat, let sit for an hour) and 1/4-1/2 Apple per day. ). If that takes too long to move through, add Apple. More Prune will soften output, which for you may be more important than Frequency.WATER - seems to be important too. Less Water may make the Colon delay output.SQUIRTGUNS - friend recommends, but after watching someone try an electric toothbrush for the first time, I don't like the idea of having to wash the ceiling, though I may be just paranoid.

Works fantastic!!!!
My tub has been clogged with a super slow drain for months. I have tried everything! I bought a huge snake and have snaked it 1000 times to no avail. I tried baking soda and white vinegar to no avail! I was trying to avoid having to pay for a plumber to come and did a little bit of research and found this product. I had to use four applications each of them overnight, but my drain is now clear. I can shower without my tub filling up! My tub is finally clean! I 100% recommend this product. Be patient let it sit in the drain overnight. When you wake up in the morning, run the hot water for five minutes. Pour another application in if it’s not fixed and go to work. When you come home, run the water for five minutes on hot. If it’s still not fixed, put in another application and go to bed. Wake up in the morning and repeat. Give this product an opportunity to do its work and it will!! I am so grateful!!

Works pretty well but required multiple treatments
Took 3 treatments to get the slow drain clear but it did work. The first treatment I let sit for about an hour but that didn't clear the clog. The second treatment I let sit overnight. It drained better but was still a little slow. Third time was the charm. After a third treatment overnight the clog appears to be completely clear. I also like that it has virtually no smell.

Green Gobbler REALLY works!!
This stuff really does work. I used it in, successfully, in my kitchen sink and master bath sink. My kitchen sink was backing up, and plunging alone did not address the problem. I poured 16 oz in each sink and, after wiping any external reside, left them sitting over night. After flushing with hot water the next morning both sinks flow like new. It even removed that smelly odor from my master sink. I’ve used the powder version a few years ago, but found the liquid to be much easier to use in the bathroom (since my plungers do not come out). I’m moving to a house on a septic and and thrilled to know I can continue to use Green Gobbler there.
