This has non-conductive adhesive and therefore won't work as shielding. It will however keep the slugs out of the inside of your guitar. I cannot understand why you would go to the trouble of selling stuff that won't do the job it claims to. It must be simple enough to get hold of tape that will do the job then sell that. It must be more straightforward than what you're doing in fact. Go away and have a really good think.
