Possibly the most perfect travel bag I’ve owned so far
For its size, this is surprisingly roomy. It looks bigger than I thought it would, and I did worry whether it would fit okay under EasyJet seats, but it did so easily with room to spare. That it’s rectangular certainly helps; ordinary rucksacks taper at the top, of course, meaning available packing space reduces the further up the bag you go. No such problem with this one. The large back pocket provides ample space for an iPad and (or) laptop; I find the netted pocket inside the main zip top ideal for storing cables and, if you carry them with you (as I do), a mouse and keyboard.I’m looking to travel lighter than ever these days, but I reckon with careful planning (depending on the footwear you take) it would be possible to pack the basics - shorts, tees, underwear, swimwear, a light beach towel, sandals, travel size toiletries - for a week away in warmer climes. In terms of airline hand luggage, this well organised, deceptively spacious travel bag has to be about as perfect as it gets.

Smart luggage within RyanAir free luggage allowance
I wanted to take advantage of RyanAir’s ultra low cost flights - but didn’t see how I could do it using the measly free luggage allowance of 40cm x 20cm x 25cm.Enter Cabin Max with their RyanAir compliant offerings. As free returns are provided, I ordered both this item ( Cabin Max Manhattan Travel Bag | Ryanair Cabin Bags 40x20x25 ) and the Cabin Max Metz 20L Ryanair Cabin Bag 40x20x25 Hand Luggage Backpack ‘mango’.As it turned out, I kept the Cabin Max Metz one in ‘mango’ and returned this one. However, I nevertheless wanted to review the Cabin Max Manhattan Travel Bag | Ryanair Cabin Bags 40x20x25 I returned as it is an excellent bag. A five star product. It’s within the RyanAir luggage allowance, is smart looking, has a convenient zip opening that circles the bag for ease of packing and a front pocket for travel documents. It can be worn as a pack back (straps are padded), or as a shoulder bag (a detachable shoulder strap is provided ) or simply carried by its handle. Particularly noteworthy perhaps is the padded tech pocket at the back, protecting your valuable laptop / tablet etc.The only reason I returned it was because I preferred the ‘prettier’ fabric of the Cabin Max Metz in ‘mango’ and wanted a fun holiday bag. In my view, however, the Cabin Max Manhattan Travel Bag I returned has superior functionality. And it’s smart and professional looking - more than acceptable for a business meeting

Perfect for short-haul travel
This bag is great for short-haul travel. I've taken it recently with me for two city breaks in Europe and both times there were no issues at the airport, I was able to pack 4 nights worth of clothes and toiletries etc. and then during the trip itself it doubled up as a day bag to carry around with me.Honestly a great back for its purpose. Just beware that it is not waterproof so if you're travelling and expecting a risk of being caught out in the rain then consider investing in a waterproof cover. It's obviously slightly water resistant but worth baring in mind.

Could Benefit From A Boarded Base
I primarily ordered to use it on a short internal flight, and after scouring Amazon for at least an hour, trying to locate a reasonably priced and quality carry-on luggage that would be suitable for an under-seat or overhead cabin compartment. It seemed near impossible as other listings had issues with zips, stitching, material and overall lack of quality control and, of course, not being advertised correctly at the required measurements.Even with this listing, I was hesitant to order due to the lack of reviews in comparison to others that have masses and generally not fully trusting reviews due to also the lack of authenticity (check out the current reviewers. This is usually easily identifiable by mass reviews in a short period). Still, having no other option, I had to take the risk as I was unexpectedly going away a few days prior for a funeral. But rest assured, here are my HONEST thoughts, positive or negative.Pro_____* Firstly, I can confirm the measurements are somewhat correct at x45 x36 x20 (I measured myself to ensure it was slightly smaller by a 1-2cm; however, this could be my measuring as the bag was soft and unpacked). Since 2019 this has been the standard stingy reduction of EasyJet’s non-chargeable cabin allowance. It fits perfectly in both the under-seat and the overhead compartment (ensure that you don’t unnecessarily overpack)* I appreciate having internal straps, just like full-sized suitcases. I saw the same brand without this feature, meaning the contents move freely and end up in a mass bundle. The straps did a well enough good job of minimising.* The zip works and glides nicely. I haven’t had any annoying sticking or splitting of the teeth when closed or operating.* I particularly appreciate that the back straps can be hidden in a rear zipped pocket, allowing the bag to be carried vertically or horizontally without the straps getting in the way.* The straps are effortless to adjust and stay firmly in place once set.Med____* The front exterior zipped compartment is spacious. However, in my opinion, anything larger than a standard wallet/purse will noticeably bulk out, which may affect being able to fit into the baggage gauge before boarding. Of course, you won’t have this issue if you’re not flying but simply for a short weekend trip. I fit my travel documents, passport and typical-sized wallet without problems.* What would massively improve the bag would be a thin stiff, boarded base, as when carrying on the back, you may feel some objects you have packed on the bottom. Though if you plan to take a small tablet or laptop, this will minimise this.Con_____* At almost £40 at this review, it's certainly expensive. For around £15-20 more, you could get a basic full-sized suitcase. But of course, this isn’t what this bag primary use. The pricing, in my opinion, needs to be slightly adjusted.* Is it deceptively spacious? Somewhat, if you plan to go away any more than a few days, you’ll undoubtedly struggle to pack those additional necessities. (Read the “info section” to see what I managed to pack somewhat comfortably. Granted, this isn’t the bags' fault. It’s most airline restrictions. Other reviewers supposedly got a week's worth of clothes, even for flights. In all honesty, I question the authenticity of these claims, and they can easily be smoke and mirrors to fit the criteria needed. Unless it’s children’s clothes, you'd undoubtedly struggle_____I managed to pack:- X1 Tie & Tie Clip- X1 Dress Trousers- X1 Shirt- X1 Dress Shoes- X3 Socks- X3 Underwear- X2 Set Loungewear- X2 T-shirts- X2 Disposable vape- X1 50ml Aftershave- X1 1L Liquids Bag- Travel documents/Wallet- Mobile Charging cable/plug- Power bank- Medication- Electric toothbrushAs you can see, all of these items are small in stature. Anything more significant, I did have to go into the “hold” checked luggage. I could’ve possibly got more in, but at risk of over-bulk and not fit for purpose where I needed it. Sure. It sounds a lot, but in reality, you must pack strategically and think Tetris style to maximise space. For, e.g. placing socks or small items inside of shoes and ensuring things are packed neatly.Overall, if you're looking for a bag that fits overhead/under-seat on flights, it’s fantastic. Still, on the other hand, If you are looking for a bag for a weekend away, this will also suffice as you wouldn’t be limited to the possible chance of over-bulk.

Great travel backpack!
Having just moved to the UK from the US, I am traveling and visiting as many countries as I can. This pack is perfect! Fully packed, it weighs in at just 10 lbs and fits beautifully in the overhead storage or under the seat. No issues at all with it not meeting airline size restrictions. I bought a second one for when guests visit and we want to have a weekend getaway but can’t take their full size suitcases. At £35 minimum to take a regular bag onboard, this package has paid for itself many times over! Cannot recommend enough!

Good for Ryanair flights
This bag does contain the most you can get away with on a Ryanair flight with a small bag only. It fits under the seat in front. Has a bottle holder. It is quite basic. It would be better if straps to pull sides together like the metz has. We did keep the bag and it fit in the ryanair hand luggage measurer fine as long as not overpacked.
