Size is the only issue
So I bought this field termination plug for my Lorex security cameras which utilize POE and I used it with the true cable shielded ethernet cable, the cable itself had very thick copper terminals, which will not go through ordinary pass-through ethernet plugs. This was a godsend, as it was very easy to install. The only downside is that the plug itself is large, and it was very difficult to maneuver it and keep it inside the junction box that came with the security camerasOther than that it is a very well-made plug, which makes your life very easy, especially with thick copper terminalsHighly recommended

Extremely difficult
I purchased these to go with trueCABLE Cat6A Shielded Riser (CMR), 1000ft, Orange, 23AWG Solid Bare Copper but apparently they aren't designed in a way to work well with that thick of a cable. I could don't create a connection that would pass on the cable tester. I tried several times and used two different connectors as the first one's connector teeth became bent and unusuable. The plastic insert that is supposed to hold the wires in place was not the correct size to hold the wires very well. Just a horrible experience overall. I spend over 4 hour across two different days trying to get these to work and yes I watch all of their instructional videos before hand and again after having such difficulties. My only conclusion is that they were using a cable that was much easier to work with perhaps one of a lesser AWG size. After giving up on these I purchased their pass through connectors and they proved extremely difficult as well as every other wire channel is offset diagonally from the other which made pushing the wires through together as a group impossible for me to accomplish. Out of desperation I tried again but this time stripping off at least 6 inches of insulation so that I would have enough length to attempt to insert each wire individually into the correct hole in the connector. After a very long time I was able to do that with the help of a magnifying glass and a lot of trial and error. However, sliding the connector down over that length of wire to get to the exterior insulation was very difficult and even though I barely managed to accomplish it I decided it was not worth the time involved to complete just one connector. This whole process made me regret purchasing their cat 6a shielded cable and wishing I had just gone with unshielded 6 instead and hoped for the best even though I needed runs longer than the length spec for cat 6.

Easy to install.
I purchased these so I could run a cable through the wall without having to dill a large hole for an entire RJ45 to pass though and so I could cut the cable to a specific length. I followed the instructions from their YouTube video, and the whole process was very simple. They are a bit expensive, but it saved me from having to buy any specialty tools. I know these are rated for CAT6A, but I was able to use it with some Outdoor rated CAT7 I purchased on Amazon.

It delivered everything they claimed

Not sure what else to say besides they work
5 minutes to assemble and have working the first time around. Extremely expensive for a residential environment but the time I have saved with these connectors, after this review is submitted I will be buying another 6.

Totally worth it
Pros- Super simple to place the wires in the plastic slots- Has a feeling to it that once assembled that it can withstand a lot more drops.- Simple to understand how to connect it.Cons- The plastic that's used to hold the wire's can be used with the tool to snip the wire but isn't strong enough to punch down without breaking the structure that holds the wire down. (Had to use a different too to cut the wire on the side.)- When attempting to assemble the plastic part into place it doesn't feel like it lines up when you press down on it to hold it in place but it does hold it in place once down in the slot.- Once the wire is in the slot it you'll feel it snap in the slot but easily snaps out for some reason. When looking closer it's very limited on how far the wire can be pushed down in the slot to hold it in place. (This isn't too much of a big deal because later it is pressed down by the slot to hold it in place.)- The blue plastic back end that slides on to the wire that holds everything together has to be pushed into place with a lot of effort to get it to snap in place (again not too much of a big deal).- Price

Worthless Junk
For a connector that doesn’t require tools it sure did require a lot to get the wire into the plastic housing that comes with the connector. Not only that but after spending an hour on getting two connectors on a wire then having to crimp with channel locks not a single wire was connected. I tries to create a wire 6 times before I gave up. Don’t waste your money buy some pass through connectors from a different manufacturer and use an actual crimping tool on those.

I Love These
Used to terminate CAT 6A STP cable for 10G capability.
