Best Balance, Look and Fit of Any Travel/Photo Backpack
Absolutely the best travel backpack for work and photography vacations. Holds my DLSR, three lenses, laptop, tablet, notebooks with lots of pockets for small items (keys, pens, batteries, etc). Love the rolltop design. Took this to Iceland where it rained, non stop, for a week and everything stayed dry and protected. Straps offer significant flexibility depending upon your build -- single or double shoulder, cross-connect, lots of room to adjust. Sits very well on your back -- no body strain even after lugging gear and snacks over a glacier.

To the literal ends of the earth
Two years ago, we scheduled the trip of our lifetimes - a cruise down to Antarctica. I knew I would be bringing a high-end Canon R5 kit, a 14" MacBook Pro, and accessories that would all go through hell. Looked at every bag in the segment, every big name you'd recognize. Bought and returned a few, too. Because WANDRD was not a name I knew, I kind of shrugged it off until our deadline was getting close. But, unhappy with competitors, I decided to take a chance. And boy did that pay off.I dragged this thing through international airports, rain ice and snow, penguin colonies, zodiac boats, and anything else that was in front of me. It practically shrugged all of it off. Not only that, two of the expedition leaders told me they also use this bag and it's always been a reliable and versatile workhorse for them. (The sentiment, if not the exact words.) I was pretty opposed to roll tops before buying this bag, but it actually proved very easy to work with and gave me a lot of flexibility in packing. When your bag is loaded up with a bit over six grand in gear, it's gotta be something you can depend on to keep that gear safe. This bag did that, and it's continued to perform top-notch in the slightly more pedestrian life of urban use. Could not be happier

Functional, high quality camera pack.
Functionality is top notch. Pack can be accessed from the top, side or back. Zipper quality is great. I really like that the back of the pack can be opened with the zipper like a suitcase lid so that all camera equipment is visible and makes organizing the space super easy.

A VERY uncomfortable pack: Great functionality with horrible ergonomics
I bought this pack before embarking on a month trip around Greenland and was excited to carry my camera and lenses with a stash pack in the top for things like a rain jacket. I have been traveling with this bag for 12 hours and I can tell you that it is not working for me. The ergonomics of the bag are totally off. Most importantly, the padding on the back of the bag does not extend all the way to the bottom of the bag. It creates this stiff line across your low back that is VERY uncomfortable. Further, the stash pack at the top cantilevers the bag away from your head and further drives the bottom of the bag into you low back. It also throws off one’s balance.PROs:1. Water resistant2. Smallish (It is an average sized backpack).3. Adjustable padded compartments4. Easy access to both the camera on the side and laptop from the top.CONs:1. The stash pack at the top has holes in it so it is open to the rest of the pack. Small items fall through.2. The padding does not extend the length of the pack so you are left with a line across the back. It literally hurts to carry this pack.3. The straps for the pack are so low on the pack that it throws off your balance when you load the stash pack at the top4. You must purchase the waste straps separately.5. The suitcase strap is so tight that it takes 5 minutes to fit it over your handles. It is also surprisingly thin.5. The water bottle pocket is too small to be useful. Even extended it fits little.6. The strap attachment points are small for the straps WANDRD sells separately and do not help you keep a tripod in the side pocket. Perhaps they work better on the larger version.I can’t use this pack, it’s that bad. I’m bitterly disappointed with it. It was well reviewed and I had high hopes for schlepping my gear across some frozen terrain. I am going to have to find a different way to carry my camera and lenses for the next month.

Excelent bag!
The backpack is excellent in quality and design. I found papers in a pocket, which suggested it had been used. However, customer service quickly resolved the issue and offered a fair partial refund. Good support.
