Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (Barbecue/BBQ) Sauce - Original Sensuous Slathering - 19 Oz. (3 Pack of 3)

I like this sauce very much. I put it on chicken and it taste great.I would recommend buying it. I moved out of New York State but bought it on line as it was so good.It has wholesome ingredients and is nutritious which is important to me along with the taste.

It’s not sweet like so many, more like the vinagar style but with a spicy but not hot red sauce.

Glad I found this on Amazon. It’s a staple for my cocktail weenie recipe. One bottle of Dinosaur BBQ sauce for the kick, mixed with one bottle of Bullseye original BBQ sauce to thicken it up a little, 3 or 4 big Tbsp scoops of grape jelly (about a 1/3 of a regular size jelly jar) and celery seed to taste ( I usually do a good layer sprinkled around the top of the slow cooker), all on top of a couple of packs of your favorite cocktail wieners. I’m originally from Rochester, NY (where I first frequented the restaurant) and I tried a bunch of different BBQ sauces where I am now, after several not as good attempts, I decided I would just go back to my originals (both on Amazon). Marinate some chicken breasts in the leftover sauce and throw it on the grille…just delicious.

Have loved this sauce for years and I can’t get it in Ohio grocery stores. Best BBq out there but twice I’ve ordered from this company and it has arrived broken. Not eligible for return. Unacceptable and unfortunate for Dinosaur to get a bad reputation and review for something out of their control, but…

This is our favorite "red" bar-b-que sauce. We are not fans of sickly sweet bar-b-que sauces which includes every brand available in grocery stores. Dinosaur does have some sugar in it, but it's not obviously sweet tasting. It is tomato-based and has no "heat" in the sauce (no obvious cayenne or heat from other peppers). I prefer some "heat" in my sauce so I'll sprinkle in a bit of Cholula, Tapatio, or Tabasco and it's just perfect that way for me. My wife prefers Dinosaur straight out of the bottle. Look at the labels on most bar-b-que sauces and you find many that contain cane sugar, corn syrup, and molasses.... 3 kinds of sugar in the bar-b-que sauce... yuck! And those sugars are typically 3 of the top 5 or 6 ingredients. To get bar-b-que sauce we like that's not overly sweet, we have to resort to making it ourselves or falling-back on our Dinosaur sauce. If you find yourself in Rochester, NY or Syracuse, NY, it's worth stopping at Dinosaur for some of their bar-b-que. Their chicken has a rub on it that's to die for... best bbq chicken we've ever had anywhere and we have had bbq all up and down the east coast, plus, Carolinas, TN, KY, MO, AR, OK, TX, CO, and more. But Dinosaur's chicken bbq is still the best ever. They don't put sauce on it when it is served. You can eat it as served or use one of the sauces on the table, or try them all.

I am familiar with the sauce as it is made in Syracuse, NY.

I have tried several bbq sauce and have not found any that I like. I was up home in Syracuse,NY and a family member took me to restaurant. I was amazed about the taste. Bought a few extra bottles to bring back to Texas and my son snd friends love it. Ya beat TEXAS…..!!!!!!!!!

Love this sauce. Am from NY can't find it in Ohio
