Valentia Organic Tamanu Oil 4 Ounce Unrefined

I use this oil for oil cleansing method and mix t with castor oil and sea buckthorn seed oil. I’ve seen an improvement to my skin as in less blemishes and break outs since incorporating it into my skincare routine. I also apply it at night or as needed if I do have a breakout and it helps to soothe and heal them within a day. It is noted that I would avoid the eye area or eyelash area because it is a strong oil and even tho I only use 2-3drops on my face each time (after oil cleansing method) when I’ve applied it near my eyes it makes my eyes water and sting a little.... (rosehip or other oils have not irritated my eyes like that) so now I just apply all over face and neck and avoid eye area and i’ve Had no complaints. I also love Valentia Oil Brand! The packaging is beautiful and all oils I’ve received from them are high quality and work wonders for my skin and I’ve switched over from other brands in oils to this one because I’ve grown to trust it! Dry oil absorbs quickly and has green color. Only 1-2drops covers all of face. Avoid near eyes!

I have been meaning to review this oil for some time as I've been extremely impressed with it! I've been using it for months and have had no issues with breakouts despite slathering it on my face daily. It's a lovely green-blue color (but that is not noticeable on the skin) and it has a non-offensive, nutty fragrance. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and moisturized, and it's worked very well as a final layer over other products. Also, I recall thinking that it would be a nice gift because it came beautifully packaged. I highly recommend it!

It seems to work on my psoriasis but really stinks

After extensive research on tamanu oil, I decided to purchase this brand after reading all reviews and visiting their website. Despite what someone (probably a competitor) answered in the question section regarding the oil’s color, this tamanu oil is not blue, but green. This is quality oil that meets all the requirements of top shelf tamanu oil and it’s certified organic. The packaging was very nice, the box was wrapped in earth friendly tissue paper, and the glass bottle of oil was sealed with tamper proof plastic to avoid spillage as well. The color is deep green like avocado oil, however the smell has a distinct top note of pure maple syrup that dies down to an earthy grass and woods smell. It is very tolerable and quite nice. The consistency is also like a slightly thinned out maple syrup with a tad bit of tackiness instead of stickiness. I purchased for healing of scars and discolorations and will update this review after a reasonable amount of time has passed with results. I plan on purchasing more from this company, I am very impressed.

I love the smell. To me it reminds me of pecans, pecan pie. It's very soothing to the skin. Valentia products are always great.

Great value on quantity but smell and color seem a bit off. The last Tamanu oils I purchased from Amazon were more expensive and seemingly if a higher quality. Typically they are a brown and this is a weird state of green and the smell isn't as nutty as it is grassy. I suspect it's been blended or it is simply if inferior quality... Hence the price/quantity

I was very eager to use this product upon arrival, however, when I did receive it, it was awful. The smell almost made me throw up and did not apply it to my skin or hair. It was very black and just nasty. Unfortunately, I threw away the packaging box it came in and I am not able to return it so I can get my money back Very disappointed!!!

I love this oil. It came packaged nicely, all safety measures met. I bought it to treat an allergic reaction I had on my face. Keep in mind, it's a 2 on the scale, so it could clog your pores, but the risk was worth the healing properties. And heal it did! A rash as bad as mine should have taken 2 to 3 weeks to clear up. This cleared it up in 4 days! I. Kid. You. Not. I did break out from it, and I kind of expected that. But I don't even care. A little rose seed and argan oil will clear it up. This stuff works. And it smells like maple syrup. Yum. Get it if you're on the fence about the purchase. You won't regret it.
