Advents for Christmas
I give all my grandchildren, an advent calendar for Christmas at our Thanksgiving family meal! This is a family tradition that my mother always did and so I’m carrying this on! Like the calendar because of the real reason for Christmas, and then the Bible verses attached!

Stale Old Product!
This is so disappointing! We have our elf bring advent calendars for December 1st each year and this year is the first year I bought them online. The expiration dates is for 7/01/2027 but the product is clearly bad! There was a clear wrapper around the box which we removed as well.

BEST ADVENT CALENDARS
We buy this exact brand every year for our kids. The chocolate tastes good and the bible verses daily are adorable. Can't beat the price either!

Doesn’t Survive Shipping Well
I really wanted to like this, as a nostalgia trip back to my childhood in the 1980s, opening one box every night and reading the story of the birth of Christ while I got to eat some chocolate. Sadly, this product has a number of drawbacks. For starters, the text is illegible on quite a few of the boxes. I don’t think any are blank, but I literally cannot see any text on a couple, and many are *very* difficult to read. Why not use the same contrasting ink color for every box? I don’t get it. Second, the chocolate shifted during shipment. The bottom of the calendar bulges out because many of the chocolates have slipped out of their compartment and they’ve all settled at the bottom. It’s now December 16 and I think I’ve found a chocolate inside about 9 of these. So a little more than half. The chocolate *is* tasty and seems good quality! I suppose on the 24th I can rip the entire thing open and empty out all the chocolate. But that’s not really the experience I was after with this.
