Great for a woman who is always cold

I live in the desert and am really sensitive to the cold. I bought my heated jacket because I was taking a trip to Oregon this past winter. I was extremely sceptical on how well it will work. It was only $100 after all, I've spent more than that for non electric jackets that didn't hold up to the cold. This jacket was amazing, it not only kept me warm but I really only needed to use it on the lowest setting. The jacket without the heater being on was extremely warm. We visited a few waterfalls and it was rainy, my jacket stayed nice and dry. The jacket is also a nice green and fits well. I also found it to be a better pillow than the ones in my hotel room.

I initially bought the wrong size and the company was amazing when I needed to get a new size. Once I got the right size it was well worth the wait. The batteries last for quite a while. I actually bought a second battery, so I don’t have to wait for the other one to charge. Winters are definitely cold and this jacket is awesome.

This fits great. I tightened around the waist for everyday use but with a big sweater I can loosen it. I typically have trouble with coats fitting me in the arm length and my line backer shoulders. This coat leaves me plenty of room to move my arms around without feeling like I'm swimming in it.Now let's get to the warmth....1st off I'm a very cold natured person, if it's below 70° I don't want to go out. The coat by its self is heavy and warm. I just spent 30 minutes outside with the coat, gloves and stocking cap in 25° temps with a cold wind. I didn't even need to turn on the heating element. My other electric coat is only warm when using the heat settings This one kept me warm without it.I go to Chicago every February and I am confident this coat will keep me nice and toasty when walking around downtown.IF YOU DO NOT LIKE HEAVY COATS THIS IS NOT THE ONE FOR YOU. The coat has a bit of weight to it and the battery is very heavy for it's size.

The media could not be loaded. Update to add I just found out the fur part can zipper off, very cool.I'm in love with this jacket! First it's my favorite color so I was in love immediately. Second it's a heated jacket great for winter! The size fits great, I got medium, and it's a looser fit so I can actually wear my thick sweaters with this. I have another heated jacket but it fits so snug that I can only wear it with tight fitted shirts. Several pockets around this jacket inside and out, plus the battery has its own pocket. Removable zipper hood with wrap around closer for better face warmth. The battery has a digital display which is great and also came with a charging cable. 3 heat settings; high, medium, low and it heats quickly and keeps me nice and warm in the Oregon cold rain. One thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the battery plug, it's not the usual USB so I may purchase an adapter to use with my back up batteries if needed. The jacket also came with a large wash bag to protect when washed. Inner arm cuff for snug fit and can also tighten the wrist strap. There's also string cable to cinch the waist for a more feminine fit look. Over all this jacket is wonderful and I definitely see myself wearing it for years.
