I have tried it for few times and it works. Only problem, that you have to reset the ground balance quite often.

My review is for the Seben Depth Probe Extreme Metal Detector.The quality is alright for the fair price.The device work as it is described in the manual. To get the best results you should set it manually with regard to the soil conditions and subsoil.I would not call it a professional device, it’s more like a beginner’s device.It’s fun to search for hidden treasures in the woods, unfortunately I did not find anything useful, yet.Since the weight is quite low you can search with it for quite a while without wearing your arms out.Good and solid product which is really fun.

Rubbish! The bottom piece is slanted so its lopsided when detecting. I spent £79 on plastic. It looks so fancy in the picture but it came in a hugeeee package only to find it was soft plastic based and the magnet detector which connects to the pole is slanted awkwardly. It's my first time buying a metal detector and honestly I can say ....stay away from this product. For the price you'd think it would work accurately its beeping at everything and sometimes I put metal objects directly in front of it but it doesn't detect it. It's like it has a mind of its own "selective detecting" by that I mean I've tried it on all types of metal but it chooses to go off when wave it across my leg instead of the metal objects lol. it's rubbish please don't WASTE your money. I'm also looking to get. Refund from Amazon!

When adjusted everything works flawlesslyThe depth probe by Seben was sent fast and well-packed.It consists of two parts, the search coil and the tool holder. You only need to connect those. Of course, the tool holder can be adjusted on the wished size. For doing so, the telescope metal bar can be pulled out to the wished length by spinning the black collar, then lock the collar.It includes two instruction manuals, one in English and one in German speech.For the startup 8 AA batteries are needed which aren't included in the scope of delivery. The search coil is nicely large with a diameter of 25 cm and it's also waterproof. This way it's also possible to search in shallow waters. This has to be connected with the tool holder and the cable should be connected as well. There is also a plug for earphones.Then the instruction manual should be looked at closely to achieve the best possible result. There are several adjustments to be made which can be adapted to the soil properties for example. Also, it's possible to adjust the desired metal to be found and is readable with the amplitude of the display.For me as a layperson it's a great machine. I've found everything I dug in at different depths as tests. Now I'll soon try it out on the fields of a farmer I'm friends with after the harvest.

it doesn't work properly its inconsistent put a coin under it and one moment it will find it and the next time it wont find it

UPDATE: I've read the instructions with also present contradictions what felt like 10 times and did some adjustments until I achieved good results. That way I could find a piece of metal in 20 cm depth. (Video)Procedure:Brand new batteries (no rechargeable batteries), running for at least 1 minute, button pressed and right regulator turned on highest level (10), probe lowered from originally ca. 70 cm to 15, release switch and adapt left regulator (Tune). DONEManufacture:The manufacture of the materials is good; however, the used materials partly aren't because the extendable bar is made out of plastic and could break.Function:The assembly is easy and self-explanatory. The cap in the middle between the battery cases is very loose and could get lost.The batteries are hard to put in and jump out again.The instructions are puzzling, because the pages are alternated variegated between English and German and the information differs.Because of that reason the usage of the machine is very difficult.Searching function:Metallic objects which lie on the surface are spotted to 99%. But it's not the same for coins which are dug deeper than 3 cm. I tried different settings which weren't successful until now. It's simply frustrating!I will test more settings and adjust the review accordingly. Actually, the adjustment can't be that complex with that few regulators.RESULT:Many small details result in my review. Sadly, I haven't found an ordinary video on the internet yet. Maybe you could enclose an adequate German instruction which helps in understanding this complex product.PS: The reset button is positioned really unhandy!

Fue un regalo para un niño de 6 años. La idea era buscar un detector algo mejor que un juguete, y la verdad es que nos ha sorprendido a todos. En la primera salida encontraron varios objetos (nada de valor, pero igual de divertido), uno de ellos a unos 20 cm de profundidad. Es cierto que en ocasiones pita por todo pero se reconfigura rápido (igual no sabemos bien cómo hacerlo mejor). El aspecto es un poco plástico pero parece que resistirá. Muy recomendable al menos para iniciarse.

Ricevuto e tempistica consegna buonissima, visto che arrivava dalla germania. Provato subito e sembra funzioni bene, sono soddisfatto....gia' dalla prima volta mi ha fatto recuperare un po' della cifra spesa.....10 centesimi trovati in giardino, sono sulla buona strada per un recupero totale della cifra spesa. Logicamente scherzo, ma per divertirsi penso vada bene. Ho modificato l'alimentazione, comperato batteria 12 volts 7 ah per moto che tengo su tracolla ed eseguito attacchi esterni, quindi ho sempre una tensione massima di utilizzo e durata senza cambiare le batterie interne. Spero la mia esperienza serva...ciao a tutti

Ich Hatte meinen Ehering verloren der einen sehr hohen materiellen sowie persönlichen Wert für mich hat. Ich wußte grob wo ich ihn ungefähr verloren habe aber ich hatte keine Chance ihn mit bloßen Händen und Augen zu finden da das Gebiet mit Gras, tausenden von Blättern und Sträuchern war. Das Gebiet war ca. 30x50 Meter mit Abhang und Steinen usw... Es war ein wirklich schweres Terrain um etwas zu finden.Da ich keine andere Möglichkeit mehr fand als zu einen Metalldetektor zu greifen, hab ich mich für dieses Produkt entschieden.Das Zusammenbauen ist sehr einfach und die Anleitung ist in Deutsch und English.Nachdem man 8 Batterien in das Fach steckt kann es auch schon los gehen.Die Bedienung nach was das Gerät suchen soll ist mir nicht ganz so leicht gefallen. Hier ist ein bisschen rumprobieren angesagt. Ich nahm den Ring von meiner Frau und stellte das Gerät dann so ein daß er möglichst nur bei dem Ring ein Signal gibt und nicht bei anderen Sachen. Ist aber fast unmöglich, also er zeigt auch andere Sachen an (Bierdeckel,Eisenteile,Nägel usw)Man muss wirklich langsam und ganz flach über der Erde hin und her schweben damit es 100% funktioniert. Nach einigen gefundenen wertlosen Sachen habe ich nach 3 Std. endlich meinen Ring gefunden. Er war unter dem Laub in einer Böschung und den hätte ich in 100 jahren nicht mehr ohne den Detektor gefunden.Für mich war es das Geld wert , da ich meinen unbezahlbaren Ring wieder habe.Ob das Ding zum Schatzsuchen geeignet ist, weiß ich nicht aber für verlorenen Schmuck oder sonstiges ist es auf jeden Fall eine günstige Alternative. Je recommande cet appareil pour celles ou ceux avides de recherches , que ça soit dans le jardin ou dans des lieux reculés où de bonnes surprises peuvent être faite , en plus de passer de bons moments seul ou en famille .La prise en main est un peu compliqué au début , le mieux c'est de télécharger la notice sur leur site internet mais après quelques réglages cela est un jeu d'enfant .De plus le détecteur est vraiment de qualité , possibilité de détecter les différents types de métaux etc..Très satisfait de mon achat et je le recommande aux personnes voulant passer du bon temps en espérant faire de bonnes trouvailles .

Das Teil ist etwas schwerer, dafür auch stabil. Sie sondert sehr tief und diskriminiert Edelmetalle.Für Kinder nicht geeignet, auch wenn es nach einem Spielzeug nach out of space aussieht. Es wiegtetwas mehr, daher für mich nur 4 Sterne.
