This Paddle delivers
Purchasers/users of this pickleball paddle have no excuses - I can’t see how they could blame this paddle for any deficiencies in shot executions. The whole paddle is a ‘sweet spot’. It feels perfectly balanced. Its grip feels ideal, in my hand at least - the best grip I’ve enjoyed so far. And its spin facilitation factor is next level. My previous paddle was the Vulcan V570, which was an excellent paddle, a little longer paddle than the Volair, and very good at delivering spin, but after using my Volair I’m confronted by how much better the Forza Mach2 is. I’m not missing the Vulcan’s extra reach at all - I can’t imagine being more confident with a paddle in my hand than I am feeling with my Volair.

Spin, Control & Sweet Spot
If you are looking for a control paddle with tons of spin, large sweet spot and wants to have a good third shot drop plus easy kitchen game. This is the paddle that you are looking for.The only reason i'm giving it a 4 star is that the roughness on one side of the paddle is different from the other side. I already contacted their support if this is a manufacturing error.Nonetheless, the performance on both sides is the same. The spin is crazy good!!

amazing!
I previously played with Joola Scorpeus and love this SO much more. I’ve tried about 4 different paddles before Joola and this and this is by far my favorite. Only paddle I use now.

BEST PADDLE FOR CONTROL AND SPIN! Don't miss out!!!
I have gone through so many different paddles last year. I demo the Mach 2 Forza 16mm recently and notice instantly after the first few hits with it on how forgiving it is to place shots. My Dinks, Resets and Kitchen Battles has been the best with this paddle. If you're looking for more control and spin on your drives, look no further. This was rated the highest spin rate out there based on a few testing from other paddle enthusiast experts. I also heard from other Volair players there customer is great. They truly care about their product and clients. Thank you Team Volair for making such great paddle for the consumer.

Specs below, and notes on Foam Core
The grip is small, 4 1/8. That's a good grip size for women, teens, and smaller men. They include extra grip tape if you're like me and need to make it larger. The face is a standard micro texture for spin. I use a lot of spin, so I prefer more grit. But this is what most players use, it's probably a 7 or 8 out of 10 for spin. The advantage is that this texture does not rub off.The newer models of higher end pickleball paddles are rimless. This is not, it has a rim. The rimless reduces rim shots and enhances accuracy. But I don't know if you can have rimless with a foam injected core, so that might be a trade-off.The head is 8 inches wide, which is considered a wide head.Since this is a long paddle with a large head, I think it would benefit from an air hole. It does not have any air holes. Again, this may be a challenge due to the foam injection. The weight is 8 ounces, which is a medium weight paddle. I thought the foam paddles were supposed to be lighter weight, but this is actually heavier than my honeycomb paddle. The total length is 15 7/8 inches, which is a pretty long paddle. The handle is 5 1/4 inches, which is a medium length handle. It comes with a neoprene cover.Ok so the main question on this is the foam core. Most of the higher end paddles have been using various styles of honeycomb carbon fiber cores, but this is just foam injected (like "Great Stuff" spray foam). This is my first foam core paddle. It has very little flex in the middle, and it was difficult at times figuring out if I'm in the sweet spot (feels more like a wood pickleball paddle). However, the foam has several benefits.Immediately I noticed it was a bit quieter than just about any of my other paddles. They claim that the foam has more power and control. Well, I noticed that it had less friction and vibration on impact, but to me it felt like more control but less power. The other big advantage is that the honeycomb core of traditional paddles breaks down eventually. Also, if you ever ding your paddle, it's pretty much dead. However, the foam core is more durable, less prone to dings and damage, and could potentially last for decades. So I personally think the foam core has less personality and less power. I also think this is a tad expensive - foam is a much less expensive material to use, and most core paddles are going for 1/2 to 1/3rd this much. But I'm curious enough to stick with this for a few months and see if my game improves.
