Haunted: Book 5 in the Women of the Otherworld Series

Omg i adore this book and this series so so much!!!! I loved reading from Eve's point of view and i have found that I really love her character which really surprised me. You gain an opinion of Eve before you read this book but when you start reading this book those ideas get blown out of the water. You see her for who she really is and not the woman and the fearless witch she shows the world. I also loved reading about Kristof. Considering he was part of a cabal and an heir there is something extremely calming about him, he has a soothing presence and the reader can feel this through the pages!What an exciting action packed stot7 that is so so addictive, readers wont be able to stop turning the pages!!! It is so addictive and I am super excited to start reading the next book and I highly recommend This book, this series and this amazingly talented author!!!!

Apparently being dead doesn't stop you from getting into trouble and having dangerous adventures. Eve Levine is the mother of Savannah and she has been dead a few years now. However she hasn't accepted that and insists on keeping surveillance on Savannah despite not being able to do anything to protect her. Unfortunately she made a deal with the fates to save Lucas and Paige and now they are calling in the favour. With the help of Kristof (Savannahs father) and Trsiel (an angel with identity issues) she is an now an afterworld bounty hunter. An evil demi-demon has escaped from Hell and it's Eves job to bring her in, which proves to be a little more difficult than anticipated. She can't die because she is already dead but Eve learns there are worse things that can happen. She is also unwittingly being tested by the fates and needs to make a decision that will change her afterlife forever.I love Eve as a character; a devoted mother but someone who is really not to be messed with. The book is full of action and full of humour but also sad because sometimes the way to show you love someone is to let them go. Another amazing book by Kelley.

I was hoping this book would have a little more oomph to it than the previous two... not that the previous two were bad, but they just didn't hold the same appeal as the first two in the series. Anyway, this book follows Eve who has been dead for three years, only as we found out in the last book, dead doesen't really mean 'gone'.Its quite a good book as things go, its interesting, different and has some good supporting characters. My only complaint is that there were patches within the story where it slowed down to the point where i just wanted to go read something else - something which until now has never happened to me for Kelley Armstrongs writing. Luckily it did pick up and im glad i finished it.So generally, not much to say about this other than its a good read in general, but not one of the strongest in the series. Broken is next with a return to Elena and Clay and i'm looking forward to that.

More supernatural pulp fiction from Kelley Armstrong. We have the usual sassy female lead character (this time she's a ghost, but also a witch, but also a half-demon) who can crack wise even in the stickiest of situations. I can see why they've made a TV series based on these books.There are some genuinely exciting moments and a sprinkling of horror but they are all delivered in such an upbeat style that it's hard to take them all that seriously. Still, I eventually became engrossed and quite enjoyed it, although the ridiculously arbitrary nature of the solution to Eve's ascendancy problem rather spoils the ending.

This book is book 5 of the women of the otherworld series, and is as good as the 4 before it!! In fact I liked this one a lot as Eve is a great character. She made a deal with the fates and theyre here to collect!! Eves mission is to capture a demi demon hell bent on causing murder and mayhem! But when it threatens Eves daughter Savanah, it goes too far!!I wont give out spoilers as I dont like to read them myself all I will say is: Read these books!! All of them!!! 5 stars

I have read all the books before this one and have obviously enjoyed them all or I wouldn't keep going but sadly I'm really struggling with this one, it's dare I say it a tad boring and drawn out, I'm about half way, I'll finish it and maybe it'll turn around as I progress but so far not so good sorry...

Great book interesting story about the nix which I hadn't heard of until reading this. Great characters loving having Lizzie Borden in here too a must for supernatural fans everywhere

As always I wasn’t sure I’d like this, but once I picked it up and got into the story, I couldn’t put it down for long, I say read it, you’ll love it soo much x
