This is a high grade digital coax cable - RG6 type that contractors use. This contractors cable is exactly what your local aerial and satellite installer may use. It is sourced directly from a UK national satellite trade supplier and is supplied in a neat and convenient sized Roll or drum depending on the size selected.

Great cable.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. At this length didn’t need to join it to the existing cable.Hint: When you are ready to use it don’t just pull the coil of cable apart as you will end up with hundreds of twists and it won’t lay flat. Instead hold the coil when it’s still rolled up, find the end and with help rotate the coil in your hand while someone pulls the end out. This way the cable will come out “flat” and not twisted.

THIS CAN INDEED BE USED TO MOVE YOUR VIRGIN ROUTER ...
THIS CAN INDEED BE USED TO MOVE YOUR VIRGIN ROUTER. There, I said it. There will be many different opinions on whether or not this cable can be used to move original Virgin equipment. I balked at the £99 call out charge to get out router moved to a more central location in the house so took a gamble on this much cheaper alternative. I have successfully moved our router from right beside the wall box in the corner of our property, to right smack dab in the middle of the house. We now get >180Mbps throughout the house and i have noticed zero issues. I can't comment with any authority on the functionality when connected to a VM telly box, but logic would dictate that would work well.

Excellent, no drop in fibre speeds.
I wanted to reposition my Virgin Media SuperHub 3.0. Virgin Media wanted £99 to do this, saying they use ‘special cable’ for their super fast fibre. At the time I was getting around 216mbps when doing speed tests. I decided to use this cable and do it myself. A simple 5 minute job, as the cable comes with everything just ready to go. I’ve checked daily since the installing with the new cable and still get the same speeds as I did before. Only thing is that as the cable comes rolled it is a little bit more awkward to hold it straight to hammer in cable clips!

It does work but it could be better
I purchased this product as the cable for my Virgin V6 Box and Router was stretched and I wanted it to give it a bit more slack. When purchasing the item I was confused as to which end it connects to, but after reading many misleading reviews I got convinced. When the product arrived I first tried to connect it as an extender from the wall to the 2 way splitter; this isn't the design of the cable and doesn't work unfortunately. This cable can be used to extend the blue and yellow cables (for Virgin TV and Broadband) by connecting one end to the splitter and the other to the original cable. This means you will need two cables to extend both your router and V6 Box if they are far away. Now onto the issue with the cable: it doesn't fit snuggly into the port/hole as the original Virgin cables do and can fall out easily, meaning it takes a lot of fidgeting and praying that the cable doesn't pop out.

Richard who?
Better luck next time! Is what I would say to Richard Branston Pickle! As you may have guessed I'm with a virgin, sorry I meant Virgin Media. My clumsy fat dog decided to put his nashers into the cable that connects the hub to the wall (thinking it was one of his toys). After contacting Virgin Media and explaining what happened (felt like I was talking to Miss Smith about how the dog ate my homework when I was in secondary school), they said it would cost £69.99 for an Engineer to come and replace the cable. After 5 minutes looking online I came across this, not only is this twice the size of the cable I originally had, it's also a huge amount less! It's a no brainer that I bought this and spent a whole 2 minutes of my life replacing the cable.

There's nothing more satisfying than not spending money you don't need to...
...that is, not paying VirginMedia £99 for someone to come out, plug £6 worth of cable to my SuperHub2 router and move it fifteen feet to another room. Especially when that means waiting a week or two for a date then waiting in all day for the guy to arrive. Which is why I did it myself. It's as easy as pie and requires no special skill. The router continues to work as well as ever and there is no appreciable drop-off in speed of broadband access or connectivity. The clips provided are not the sturdiest - they didn't really nail well into hardwood - so I borrowed my neighbour's stapler. Tacking the wire down was the longest bit of the job but no more than fifteen minutes at that.

Review for the SSL Satellite RG6 coax 75 Ohm, Inc connectors
This review is for the SSL Satellite RG6 coax & connectors.I am rating this unit as 5 stars. This is based on quality, description & delivery.I can confirm a remarkable reduction in line jitter which is normally caused by noise or over utilisation of the infrastructure. In my case with the T3 timeouts I put it down to noise from cable / connection. After install the Jitter fell from 5 to 1, I would also say this is a better standard of RG6 coax than what virgin media use on install. If you don't have the appropriate crimping tools I can confirm this cable includes the relevant connectors for Virgin media. This item was delivered next day and direct from the seller as it was slightly cheaper than via Amazon Prime.I will recommend this product to my friends & colleagues. Please note I am not an Amazon Vine paid reviewer therefore these item have been purchased using my own hard earned cash.

Amazing
This has honestly saved my children’s lives, with Virgin installing the hub in the worst possible location it meant that only the room it was in or the one directly above got any decent connection. Virgin refused to move the hub or give me boosters or pods or whatever. This cheap cable made it possible so that now my son can scream profanities at random strangers on his PS4 and my daughter can watch hours of people doing stupid dances and challenges on TikTok and I can enjoy a nice glass of wine without being moaned at about the “omg I just lost internet and I was just about to win” or “I can’t find that video and it was like soooooo amazing” so thank you for all our sanity.
