HDD SSD Mounting Bracket 2.5 to 3.5 Adapter Hard Drive Holder (Single Drive, Pack of 2)

Incorrect Screw Types (3.5" Hard Drives use a #6-32 UNC screw, these use a M3 screw)
When I purchased these I expected the same screws that a typical 3.5" Hard Drive use. I am using these in a case that is screwless, and the plates needed to mount them in my case wont fit in a M3 size screw hole. I understand that its cheaper to manufacture when you only have to thread one size screw, but hard drives have been using a #6-32 UNC screw for the last 20+ years. Therefor any case that has specialty screws or is screwless these wont work unless you are willing to drill & tap the holes. I purchase three types of 2.5" to 3.5" adapters from Amazon (Sienoc 2-pack, Saisn 2-pack, and the UCEC 2-pack with SATA Data Cables and Power Cables Included). All are the exact same adapters and all use M3 screws. Hope this helps someone. I am still on the search for an economical 2.5" to 3.5" hard drive adapter plate.

Wrong Screw Threads
This bracket is supposed to mount in the place of a 3.5" drive in order to mount a 2.5" drive. Well, any computer guy knows that the mounting threads on a 2.5" disk are very fine and the threads on a 3.5" drive are much coarser. But this bracket has the fine threads in the location where the coarse threads are needed to use the same screws to mount the bracket. So as a result, the screws that mounted the disk you are replacing won't screw into this bracket.Buy the blue Hymeca 2Pack Mounting Bracket instead - it has the right coarse threads where they need to be. I'm not buying any more of these black ones.

Included screws don't fit
Actually the included screws DO fit......the drive. So mounting the drive in this bracket is a snap. The problem is that the mounting holes in the bracket are threaded to a different size. So the four remaining screws cannot be used to mount the bracket in the computer. This causes much frustration. Four screws to fit the holes in the bracket couldn't cost much, and would make this package MUCH more appealing.

Bad fit and non standard screw sizes.
Ordered two. One was almost bent in half. 50% manufacturer's fault for bad packaging and 50% Amazon's fault for not packing them better. The screw holes used to mount the brackets to the case are also slightly non standard size. Not only did they barely fit the provided screws that came with it, they don't match standard 5.25" drive mounting screws. See picture for where the small provided screw is practically stripped just trying to get the mounting screw in. If your case uses screws that require a different offset, you're out of luck. Attached picture of longer screw came from an Antec P80. I've been building computers for 25+ years and this is the first time I've had a hard drive mounting kit not fit.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT... BOTH DRIVE BAYS BENT AND NO SCREWS INCLUDED
I was in a bind and needed this part in a hurry, received the drive bays this afternoon after ordering last night. But upon opening the packet find no screws that were included and upon further review I open the plastic wrapping and both bays were bent and deformed.

Took some work but job complete
Decent quality, good price. Unfortunately the holes didn't line up with my Dell cradle snap pins. Had to drill out the holes. to fit... The holes positioned the SSD fit in the middle of this tray pushing the cable connectors further back then the original SATA connectors. My cables were stretched pretty tight when I stacked my DVD in place. I hope they don't pull out over time. I think a few more well placed holes on the bottom and sides are needed. to give more mounting options and to accommodate various cradle configurations

This adapter served the purpose. . . but dimensions were off a little
It came with the proper screws to install a 2.5" SSD into a 3.5" bay. The alignment of the drive to the adapter was fine. However, the spacing of the adapter to my Thermaltake case 3.5" bay was off a little. Only got to use one screw, but that's OK since this adapter is better than just having the SSD flopping around. The clearance for the connector plugs was fine. This adapter is made from stamped steel, painted black. Yup, it's cheap, and worked OK.

Wrong Screws
I'll jump onto the wrong screw bandwagon here. Included screws do not fit a 2.5" drive. All included screws are coarse thread.

Muy practico y facil de instalar
Excelente producto me sirvió para que el disco que quite de una lap no se mueva en un gabinete viejito que no tiene bahía de 2.5, llego en perfectas condiciones y es muy practico.
