Small bird feed - it does deter pigeons
We spent the last few months re-doing our garden, removed all the weeks and laid down loads of bark and edging, trimmed our plum tree then purchased a bird feeder along with this bird feed. Was a no brainer to buy the 20kg sack to save money. I wanted feed to deter the pigeons, this is anti pigeon feedI really enjoy my photography and participate in many competitions, mainly do Astrophotography and Landscapes but needed to branch out to involve myself in the other areas especially when it comes to competitions. Purchased the feeder and seed to photograph the small birdsThe feed arrived in a white sack which I will recycle, filled the feeder and placed it on a branch of our plum tree, didn't see any small birds use it, several pigeons tried but failed.Next morning I looked out and saw several robins, blue tits and other small birds which I can't name yet using it, will sort out some photos in due course. The feed is small so great for small birds, can't wait to sit outside and watch themReally happy with the feed, just one note of caution, like a muppet I filled it in our dining room and the feed seeped out the bottom, moral of the story here fill it up outside

No wheat bulking it out.
A good mix of seeds. No wheat bulking it out. Wild birds love it. Quality item. Cheaper than my high street.

Bird food
My garden birds love this food and because there is no wheat I do not get any pigeons. It's good value for money. But I do suffer with some of the seeds growing that drop onthe floor. Thats why i only gave it 4stars

Great value and the birds love it
Great value for money, in a big sturdy tub which can be reused to mix various bird seeds instead of dealing with the usual numerous plastic bags. Very fine mix, not suitable for hanging mesh feeders, but I use it in window feeders and the birds seem to love the flavour, that's why I gave that a 5! Great for homemade fat balls with suet or lard which I hang in the garden. Also happy to say that a beautiful pair of collared doves are still happy to visit my window feeders and enjoy this food. I'll definately buy again!

The really small seeds are never touched!
The smallest of seeds are never eaten and I have a large variety of small birds. Can anyone tell me what these seeds are so I can try and avoid them in future? As for pigeons; due to the lack of corn there are fewer pigeons, but they still do come and eat the seed.

Birds love it
My garden birds descend immediately. We have a large number of hedge sparrows plus other common garden birds. Pigeons tend to chuck small seeds all around, too much for even the hungriest dunnocks. This is the third time I have bought this seed and will continue to use it.

Birds love it. No waste
I wasn't sure if this would be as popular with my wild birds as the Copdock Mill Kentish Premium seed, which they loved. The answer is yes, it is. And it is, at the moment, cheaper, so I'll stick with this mix if the price remains competitive. No waste. There is quite a bit of small pea seed in it, and I wasn't sure if that would be eaten, but it is. Also quite a reasonable amount of sunflower seed in it. The wild birds that eat it are house and tree sparrows, dunnocks, robins, blackbirds, chaffinches, blue tits, great tits and coal tits, greenfinches, and wood pigeons.
