Amazing shorts! Seriously love them. I went through (and returned) several high end shorts from Lululemon and Nike before I settled on these. The fabric with the 4 way stretch is high end, and you can expect comparable shorts from Bonobos, Lulu or any name brand for $80+.Great quality. Exceptional price. I already bought black and navy... Now I'm looking into more colors.Highly recommend!

I have been a fitness person for over 25 years. I enjoy weight lifting and cardio training that includes biking, running and heavy bag workouts. I also train others in the areas of fitness and performance optimization and have done so professionally for the past 18 years. With that as my background, I have to say I absolutely love these shorts.Comfort: The materials are great, giving a sturdy but light feel to them. They fit very well and are comparable to finding that perfect running shoe. I chose my size by using the company size ordering chart, and the waistband fits beautifully. It's snug like well-fitting items are supposed to be. Not too loose, not too tight. I can enjoy a long run but not worry about losing them if I dive head first into the water. The liner is an equally good fit that provides support to the groin area, allowing for high impact cardio sessions without fear of having a testicle bouncing up into the groin cavity (something that has actually happened to a colleague of mine when he wore boxer shorts under his sweat pants while on a run).Versatility: As mentioned, the overall fit provides for a great range of motion in the waist and leg areas so they are a very versatile set of shorts that are extremely comfortable to lift, bike, run or swim in. As far as the look of them goes, they don't scream "workout gear" so I can get away with wearing these shorts with a golf shirt and flip flops to a restaurant at the beach. The shorts come with two main front pockets capable of holding the typical wallet/phone/keys, and a small zippered pocket in the right main pocket that can hold a key, fob, or a small training supplement/nutrient pack on a run. They also have a rear pocket that can be held closed with the attached velcro strip, and an attached bungee loop for holding a light miscellaneous item.Durability: I can't say too much about that yet. I've only had them a couple of months but so far, so good. I'll up this review after a few more months.Customer support: Again, hard to say at this point, since I haven't needed to do a return for any reason. But I will say that the company reached out to me shortly after I made my purchase wanting to ensure I was satisfied. That's always a good start. They welcomed constructive criticism. Another good omen, so I told them about my only two critiques below. I received an email the next day letting me know they received my feedback and would consider it in the future. So by all indications, their customer service seems on track.Main criticisms: There are only 2 things keeping me from rating them a full 5 stars: 1- There is a tag on the inside rear seam. It puts a scratchy feeling at the base of your spine which completely undoes all of the efforts to make these things extremely pleasurable to wear. It's an easy fix as the tag is pretty simple to cut off, but it's just a pain to have to do. 2-It would be useful to have a small split hem on the outside of the legs to make squatting or lateral leg stretches easier. Nothing crazy, maybe an inch in length. I think it would add to the versatility while still keeping the subdued look that lets me meet someone for lunch before I go for that bike ride.These criticisms are nit-picky things. After I bought my first pair, I sent these suggestions to the company and then I quickly ordered two more. Bottom line, if you're shopping for workout shorts, and especially if you're gearing up for a bi or triathlon, you owe it to yourself to give these a try. You won't regret it.

I just received my swim trunks and I am surprisingly pleased with what I found. The fit is great, the shorts sit above the knees which is exactly what I was looking for. In my opinion a more athletic fit and comfort when doing exercises like squats, lunges or running. They feel really comfortable and the material stretches allowing you to move without restriction and it provides a liner, side pockets, back pocket, and even a small little zippered compartment for a key or small item of value. The best thing is that they are versatile and work as swim trunks, workout shorts or even as a casual short on the summer weekends. Overall very pleased with this product. These shorts are amazing. I’ve been looking for the right fabric/fit for a swimsuit for some time and this didn’t disappoint.

I'm giving these swim trunks 5 stars despite their fitting me small, as I'll keep them to wear as I work to slim down. I really like the extra feature of the hidden zippered pocket. I don't like the outside drawstring but it is made as an inner drawstring passing through a pair of eyelets so as to be tied outside. That means the string can easily be pulled out of the eyelets so it can be tied from the inside, and I like that design versatility. I bought these to compare against some Kanu swim trunks with inner drawstring. I like both but the Kanu fit more as I expected, with an X-Large still roomy enough for my loosely-measured 45-inch waist. I typically wear jeans with a 42-inch waist just fine and existing swim trunks in X-Large work, but reading that these shorts run small, I opted to go up to XXL and found they fit but are too snug for what I'd want to be seen wearing out anywhere. That said, they are exceptionally comfortable and I will wear them to lounge around the house in. I need to get in better shape and as I do, these will fit much better.

Can't speak highly enough about this product. I've been wearing them all summer and using them hard. From hiking to running and casual strolls around town, and then for 21 days straight at the beach kayaking and swimming and fishing they have held up better than I could have ever imagined. They fit a bit snug, so maybe order the next size up (I returned the first pair, the second pair fits perfect), the zippered pocket is great for protecting keys in the surf and valuables from pick pockets, and the rear pocket is nicely secured with velcro but yet easy to open. Can't recommend these enough.

The suit is fine, but it is on the small side. I ordered the XL and it is more really a L. Keep that in mind if your going to order this item. I returned it and would have ordered an XXL but they do not offer it in that size.

I like the fit. I read some of the reviews that said they run small so I went ahead and ordered a size larger than normal. My complaint isn't the size however. Upon arrival the netting on the inside was already torn. It's unfortunate that this got through quality control. I love these shorts but I will not buy anymore due to the quality issues. If they get that straight I will buy a pair in every color.
