AlumaGrips 1911 Full Size Light Weight Desert Digital Complete Coverage Checkering Ambi Grip

These were purchased for my kimber custom, and they look amazing. I really like the digital camo fde look that crimson trace was using but I didn't want a laser, or a $239 set of grips for that matter. So these are perfect, and I got the last pair so I really feel lucky. I have probably bought a dozen set of wood, plastic and g-10 and these feel so nice and keep my hands dry as well. I put a pearce finger groove insert on it as well, feels 100% better in my hand.

If you are looking at AlumnaGrip stocks, then you probably already know about them. I will add these are impressively formed and finished. The checkering texture provides secure purchase without being excessively aggressive. Be advised, however, that the actual colors appear different from what shows in Amazon's illustration. These grip panels are definitely "desert" hues and tones... i.e. - no dark earth tone green is present. The illustration is the same one showing on AlumnaGrip's website, so Amazon can be forgiven. Also, it is worth noting that Amazon offers two other versions of AlumnaGrip's "Desert Digital" stocks for the 1911 pistol.

Absolutely the best grips for light weight commander slim and have a great feel to them highly recommend this product!!

Expensive but worth it. Gives my colt the look I was looking for. The feel is good to.
