Disinfecting Solution/Neutralizer-12 oz

I have extended wear soft contact lenses with a very high perscription and found if I do not use this product along with the enzymes I cannot wear my lenses anywhere near as long vs using just the cleansing drops. This product lasts a very long time and is well worth the investment of time as it takes a bit more effort to use this system than rinse with drops and saline solution. Protein deposits irritate the cornea and it can damage vision so I recommend you take special care of your lenses and see forever!

I'm relatively new to contacts and hate how quickly they get filmy just a couple days in to opening a new pack. This disinfection system is somewhat clunky: 1) Take out your contacts; 2) Rinse them; 3) Affix them to the holder; 4) Fill the holder exactly to the line; 5) Drop in a separate pink tablet; 6) Quickly close and tip the holder up and down a few times; 7) Wait overnight for your contacts to be disinfected. That said, the clunky system does its job. I notice that my contacts stay clearer and more comfortable for longer when I'm using this disinfection solution. Now that I've come to the end of my first kit, I've just ordered more.

Thought it was quality product. Honestly I couldn't tell the difference between regular multi-purpose care and this. Thought a bit annoying to have several steps involved on a daily basis.

This is the only disenfecting cleaner that I will use for my contacts. I discovered about 8 years ago that I have some pretty bad allergies to some cosmetic products and also to regular contact lens solution. I used to get super red and itchy eyes with lots of discharge from them that looked like pus. I could barely even wear my contacts anymore. This went on for months. After the eye doctor diagnosed me, she recommend I try this chemical disenfectant for my contacts instead, and it has been a life saver. No more itching, reddness, or mysterious pus from my eyes. I can wear my contacts every day again with no issues. I will be a life long customet of Oxysept!

Even with so many recent product additions now on the market, the "hydrogen peroxide" type of lens disinfection remains the gold standard. I have a serious corneal disease and must wear a soft lens on my right eye as a "bandage" application. I've found that "Oxysept UltraCare, in combination with the neutralizing tablets, and being preservative free, (important) works fine for me. The tablets release a pinkish color indicator to show you didn't forget to put it in the solution and the tablets are totally effective at neutralizing the peroxide. Just be sure to follow the simple instructions. Relating to Amazon's service in referring the transaction to their seller and then "their" delivery service; Five stars as well.

my eyes are sensitive to most no rub formulas. i had been using clear care but that also started burning my eyes so i gave this a try because of all the good reviews. i dont know if your suppose to 'rub/clean' the lenses, but by just putting them in the solution, they came back out filthy. i've never seen brand new contacts come back so dirty the next day.so i switched back to clear care, turns out the 'disc' had prematurely worn out, when i replaced the disc, the burning stop right away. ill be sticking to clear care, same principal but no tablet to put in.

I have used other peroxide cleansers for my contacts - but decided to give these a try as my eyes still felt dry at times. My contacts do feel more lubricated when I first put them in thatn with the other cleansers and my eyes feel less dry throughout the day. Not by a large margin - but enough for me to notice, which is good enough for me :)
