Does the job, but too small to fit all 5 fingers at the same time. It would work on a kid's hand, but on an adult hand, the thumb will be left out, nowhere near the UV light. I have small hands, and even for me this is small.I wish it had a battery and not have to have it plugged in all the time. I 'll see how long it will last; I only have it for about a month, and I used it twice so far.However, it does cure the gel in the amount of time it says it would, so it does do the job, it is small and compact, light and easy to put in a travel kit. Overall it is a good value.

I ordered this as a replacement for my Dashing Diva lamp, which just stopped turning on one day. The design is basically identical. I honestly should’ve spent a bit more money for a better design, because as portable as this design is, it’s not great for actually using on your nails. The fold out design doesn’t stay “up” very well, and I’m constantly having to re-cure my nails. I would suggest a bit bigger lamp. It’s supposed to have two time settings, but I can’t see any way to change it between the two. Within 3 days of having it, and using it only once, the power button broke and basically fell into the lamp. It was impossible to turn it on again. I already received a replacement, and it works, but I don’t have a lot of faith in it lasting very long. It arrived quickly and serves its purpose, but my recommendation would be to get a less portable and larger design for the same price.

I ended up returning this item. It looks really nice, and it feels very well made and solid, but it didn’t seem to work correctly. At first I thought I needed to let it charge for longer than the suggested amount, or that perhaps I was using it wrong, but after asking a couple of people and looking through the instructions it did not appear to be user error. Every time I successfully turned it on, it would work for the first five seconds and then turn off and I could not get it to turn back on again. I would charge it and it had to stay on the charger until the light turned off, only to repeat the same exact process each time. I also tried unplugging it from the charger after the charging light turned off and then plugged it again to leave it for a good few hours and it didn’t make a difference. I ended up returning it.
