I found that two of the items were not quite as smooth in operation as the others in the set of four. This might matter to some users. This might be caused by roughness on the sliding surfaces and hopefully will wear down and become smoother with time. They come well oiled as they lack any plating. I would have paid a bit more to have them pearl chromed. They will do the job I bought them for so good value for me.

Nothing to dislike. Useful, reasonably priced tool set for occasional use measuring the diameter of tube bores or holes. Have to be used with a micrometer or vernier gauge. The accuracy is in the hands of the operator.

These are great quality and useful small bore gauges. ideal for gauging small holes where micrometers and verniers calipers etc cant easily fit. Smooth operation and well finished. great value item.A must for small lathe users and modelmakers.

comes in a plastic pack and well protected in grease. only used the two smaller gauges but they lock well so easy to measure when removed.
