Great Prisms....Great Price
Can’t beat the price for these prisms. I am a land surveying crew chief, this is my second set, ordered it for a friend, great quality, I put mine to the test every day, it takes a beating but still works great, thank you

Cheap alternative for "rough" survey work
I have done some tricky jobs with this, great for the price. Not the greatest mirror glass in the world too. Metal could be cut thicker too. Very light (good and bad).

Better than expected
Arrived quickly and seems well made. I checked and adjusted the level bubble, using a flat surface and high quality level. I like that the screws are long enough to actually adjust it, without them falling out. I set my collector to a -30mm constant, and it worked perfectly. I tested it against my MT1000 prism, in passive mode, at 200' and it returned the exact same measurement down to the 1/16". I wish that I had bought one of these years ago.It comes with the bracket to use it as a plumb bob. Can't say that I will ever use that. There are videos out there on how to do so though.Only thing that would make it better is a self-supporting bracket to elevate it up a few inches, while being able to mark the exact center of the flat surface.

Not bad.
With one exception... the prism constant isn't exactly -30mm, but it's pretty close... probably 1.5 mm off. But that's well within the range of normal setup error.

fair quality, no instructions
Product arrived package was open. All contents seem to be there. Prism says 17.5mm offset but it appears to be adjustable, as the prism will screw in and out of the frame. So will have to take some shots and see what the offset really is. There is a black square bracket, and a hook which I am not sure what they are used for. If anyone knows, maybe you could enlighten me.
