Quiet for a grinder and makes my life easier
I love freshly ground coffee. I accidentally purchased whole beans a number of years ago and decided to try it out. Once you have freshly ground coffee you don’t really want to go back.Anyways, this grinder is compact, doesn’t take up much counter space, noise level is low, great quality, easy to clean, multiple ground settings, and I would say worth the money I paid for it. I did get it on a Black Friday sale and that made it even easier for me to justify. It seems very durable and functions well. I’ve had no problems thus far (3 months). It’s also very easy to clean. Another bonus is that the grounds don’t stick to the walls of the container they’re released into. Overall, great purchase.

True Esspreso Grade Grind
This machine gives exactly what I want.Given the price of other high end grinders, I was skeptical this grinder would give true espresso grade grind. I've encountered others the claim they do espresso grade, and yet their finest settings had it far too coarse. It's simple to set up. It grinds quick and delivers what it promises. The powder is fine enough that through a naked portafilter, it pools up correctly on the bottom and drains down in a single direct stream. The coffee is rich and thick like it should be.I feel this grinder is good for It's price, especially since I got it on a Black Friday deal. It'd probably my endgame grinder on my coffee journey, but it's a late game one for sure that will last me for a couple years or more.

Excellent burr grinder!
I've been wanting a burr grinder for awhile, and after doing my research, I picked this Shardor grinder. Excellent job at grinding the beans for whatever type of coffee machine you are using! I use an espresso machine and have the settings set for that. Very easy to use and noise level is what I would expect. Loud enough (but not too) to know it's doing it's job! Company is very responsive if you have any questions or issues! Highly recommended!

Will not turn on
Plugged it in. Worked for about 30 seconds, now won’t turn on at all. Design was otherwise nice and simple; but haven’t even been able to use it once.

The Best Coffee!
I was using a blade grinder for my whole bean coffee and it did not cut it for percolated coffee - it was too fine and overkill. I decided to get this burr grinder and it was a game changer. Set it to how many cups you want and the grind level. The machine stays programmed that way until you change it. It grinds the perfect amount that I just add to my percolator basket - no need to measure - now I just grind what I need per pot so I can switch up my coffee's anytime I want. One of the best purchases I have made this year...

Portafilter Cradle doesn’t work for residential espresso machines and needs workaround..
This is a pretty good burr grinder. The portaflilter cradle slides in to the machine and if you have a residential portafilter you have to put it into the top slot. The problem is when it fills up a double shot cup. So it fills it up to the amount you need but when you pull it out, there’s plastic flaps that come out of the machine from the bottom above the portafilter cradle. They are probably guides for the coffee coming out, which is great but when you go to pull the portafilter out, those flaps get in the way dumping the top pile of your shot onto the bottom of the machine. 1. it creates a mess that will happen every time you do that.2. You get less coffee to tap and down into your shot cup. I use this workaround where I put the tab of my residential Portafilter onto the bottom slot where the commercial one goes and then I use a phone stand to hold the handle of it in place. It’s not perfect, but it works. It seems like they should know this as they’re developing this that it doesn’t work for the residential one. What am I supposed to do by a commercial grade espresso machine? Anyway, otherwise it’s a great machine.

Definite upgrade from Cuisinart, but not flawless
Overall, very easy to use, very customizable, quite even grind. Does the job for my everyday.I do have a pet peeve with it where when I grind light roast beans, which is most of the time, the grind setting moves a bit when it's vibrating. So I have to hold it in place or it will end up a larger grind than I intended.

Great grinder for espresso!
I replaced my old grinder with this one specifically because the old one couldnt grind fine enough. I use a gaggia espresso maker with an open bottom unpressurized portafilter, and it was hard to find grinds fine enough to get the extraction time needed. This grinder is almost too fine on the finest setting, but I've found a 3 or 4 fineness setting works great in my machine! I love that you can dispense grind directly into the portafilter, and the fact it remembers your grind settings (single/double/triple shot, and grind time) based on grind fineness is something I didn't know I needed, but love now!
