Camera has good picture, seems clearer than ring camera.Easy to install, simple to use.Aftercare was great as my first camera had a fault, I contacted them and they checked everything by email instructions and video call on skype, all within 24 hrs and had a camera to me within 72hrs. The new one working great.Camera is great for security because you can move it all around by the app if you are not at home, so if you see something after a motion alert you can pan the camera following the point of interest.Night vision is really clear.Slightly more expensive than others but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for!

Excellent outdoor camera with easy setup and quality 5 star all round

Camera bought in July 2019.Over the last few days there has been moisture inside the lens obscuring the picture.I took the camera a apart today 1.3.20.There is lots of moisture (water) inside the camera.It points down when in operation and the water has pooled near the led's at the front.This is corroding the circuit board and alloy metal body surrounding the lenses. (Rest of the body is plastic)I've wiped what I can and had a hair dryer blowing inside and on the components for a while to try and dry it out.Reassembling with as much sealant on jointed surfaces as I could get in and I thought I'd be good to go.There would appear to be no sealant between the glass lenses and the aluminium front section so I sealed around the back side of these as well.Put back up on the wall and 45mins later I've got moisture on the inside of the lens glass again. Hopefully it will evaporate and disappear without leaving water marks again.If not I'll be looking for a new camera.There was a considerable amount of water inside when I opened it (probably 4 thimbles full) so these cameras don't seem to be sealed as well as the manufacturer claims.Someone asked a question could I run it on a boat.I would highly recommend that any installation position for this camera is under cover out of direct rain.There is a spare plug and red & black wire inside the camera and you have to wonder if this should goto a heater unit that was never installed by the manufacturer to keep the inside dry.Considering the temperature range the manufacturer claims for operation and the rain resistance. I would say don't buy unless installed under cover.The overall quality of the video feed was good.The night vision was excellent.I couldn't get the onboard motion recording to record longer clips than 16 seconds at a time so I used an external DVR.

August 2018, Excellent camera and very easy to install Update, May 2019, nearly a year on, I had a problem with the e-mail sending an alert, it took one message from Genbolt and the problem was solved and their response to mine was in less than an hour....5 stars again.

We found this so good we have bought a few. For us the installation was easy, and the ease of use and quality have been faultless.

Not easy to install because it's heavy and took over 2 hour session to learn how to use, still can't get it right. So I only got one connected.Complicated to use.

First one arrived broken, sent back ,took a little time to set WiFi up but once it was working great solidly built ,clear picture would buy again

I bought a Genbolt bullet camera in January this year. It's taken a while to find the time to review it. Today, I went to my Orders - previous orders and I now see that my version purchased in January, is no longer available and the version now listed as a LINK against what I bought, points to a model that is £100 more.I suspect what I got was an older version of the machine. It's listed as capable of running Windows7 and 8. So I presume this newer one will run on later versions of windows, this was not a problem as I am running Win 7 64 bit.Unfortunately I will be removing this from the side of the building when I am next up a ladder.The actual camera seems well made apart from poor positioning of the wifi ariel for some direction, I note the new one has the ariel positioned differently. Occasionally it even works. However it is far too inconsistent in its function to be of any evidential use.The software installed, and configured on PC and Android too. After that - unusable. No setttings stay consistently in place, each attempt at configuring fails 9 times out of 10 The router is only 20 feet away in a straight line with a good signal. One wooden floor and one window separates it from the WiFi yet it is hugely unreliable, it shows a blank screen most of the time and when it does connect you get about 2 minutes view before it goes off.. I can see why it is no longer available. If It still was I could NOT recommend it.I do realise it was not a lot of money, but it would be nice if it actually worked consistently. I have previously purchased internal cameras for less than this and they have worked correctly for 4 years. I purchased this on a try it and see, if it had worked I might have upgraded to a newer version. This is not likely now. Hopefully the new one has a more correctly translated user guide too. Very poor.
