This is great for lighting candles. Not so much for starting a fire in your backyard.

This lighter is very easy to use and recharge. We use candles frequently and not having to think about buying lighter fluid or a new lighter is convenient. The 4 star rating is due to the noise that the lighter emits when lit. The noise is high pitched and bothers my dog.
