Reduce waste
I have 6. One of the best kitchen supplies I own. I put the used grounds into compost or toss them onto my lawns or into my gardens. In winter I collect them in a 3 gal bucket to spread in the spring. The filters are the perfect fit for someone tired of consuming (and buying) paper filters. Clean-up easy. I wash used filter (after emptying!) under warm water with a tiny bit of dish detergent. It's important to wet thoroughly before using. I just squeeze most of the water out and install them fairly moist. Great for brewing. Great for the environment.

Great for pour over coffee
I first bought one filter (cone size #2) in June 2020 to use at work. I liked it so much, I ended up buying a second filter (cone size #4) in February 2021 to use at home. It does a great job in filtering out fine grounds, and the coffee tastes great. If you follow the care instructions that come with it (boil before first use, moisten before each use, rinse and air dry after each use), these filters are sure to last a long time. The attached picture shows how my use of it (used every weekday for 6 months) changed the color of the filter; the flavor of the coffee is not affected.Recommendations for use:- Make sure you dry the filter in a well-ventilated area because that can affect the taste of your next batch of coffee.- Turn the filter inside-out when you use it. It's easier to scoop out the used grounds that way, and it makes the filter generally easier to clean.

Love these filters
We are trying to cut down on disposable products and ordered these filters and the fine metal mesh kind (from another seller). These reusable fabric coffee filters are better by far than the metal type. We get a kind of sludge in the bottom of our pot when using the metal type. With these the coffee is clear and has tons of flavor. I found it a little difficult to dry, it takes too long in my opinion, so I bought a second fabric filter to alternate with. I highly recommend these fabric coffee filters!

Takes a bit longer to clean than steel mesh, but worth it!
We went off paper filters because environment, and got a steel mesh replacement (not to be confused with perforated metal 'permanent' filters). That worked fine for a while then started coming apart. While I was researching a replacement, I found a meta study of coffee benefits saying that the reason why their is so much conflicting data between studies seems to be the coffee prep method; Greater benefits were seen in coffee prepared with paper or cloth filters, than other methods like press pots or "permanent" filters. While steel mesh wasn't specifically mentioned, the meta study authors did opine that cloth and paper might absorb/block some coffee elements that other methods did not.ANYWAY, because the mesh is much stiffer, it was easier to clean - we're talking about like, a minute difference. We can't really taste a difference, but at this point in our lives, we can use all the benefits we can get!

5 stars for ease, flavor and sustainability!
Just received my reusable filter and have used it a few times. I followed instructions to boil it for 3-5 minutes, then let it dry till my morning coffee. It’s super easy to use, I got it wet then placed in my ceramic holder, and added the coffee. The water filtered through at a paper filter pace which I was pleased with. The taste was fine, I noticed no difference from paper. For disposal, I inverted it over one of my many plants and simply rinsed it in the sink. The filter dried within a few hours and now it’s resting in the ceramic base waiting for my next cup. I’m totally happy with my purchase, that it’s not from an overseas firm, its from organic cotton and hemp, and I’ve taken another step in single-use elimination. I will be purchasing more for my kids as stocking stuffers, as they are all pour-over coffee drinkers. Totally happy with this product!

Works great with our pour over coffee maker
I used to have one of the wire/mesh pour overs which let tons of little grounds through in the coffee. When that one broke I bought a ceramic one but I really didn’t want to throw away coffee filters each day, so this was the perfect solution. We have been using it almost every day for the past 4 months and so far we have zero issues and it seems to be holding up very well.

Love this thing
So much better and stronger than paper filters; great natural fibers, dries fast, major sustainability and affordability points. No more coffee grounds in beverages from weak paper.

Great tasting coffee!
I love this reusable coffee filter. I just had my first cup with it and it makes my coffee taste better than with the paper filters. If you are a coffee connoisseur you have got to try these.I’ve been making slow changes to reduce my carbon footprint and these are a great way to assist my goals. These are made in North America too! I love that I’m supporting a small business owner and they aren’t being shipped as far.

Fantastic product. But...
Fantastic product! The number 4 size goes well with my Moccamaster. Much better than those paper filters that I have to re-order each month. Now I don’t have to worry about waking up and realizing I ran out of filters, let alone contribute to the global waste.Great job and keep up the great work making those filters 😊EDIT/UPDATE:After approximately 1 year of use, the filter has lost its shape and seems to have shrunk. As a result the ground coffee beans expand over the edge of the filter when the pot is brewing 10 cups. I now have coffee grinds in my brewed coffee. The manufacturer should pre-shrink the filters so they stay at a constant fit with the machines.

Easy to use, good for the environment, money saver
I purchased the Chemex filter and used it with my 6 cup Chemex and purchased the no 4 filters cone for my automatic coffee maker; both fit like a glove! I've used both and love the results. Would recommend these filters to everyone. They may take a couple more minutes for cleanup, but well worth it. The coffee definitely tastes better as a result as well. I will continue to purchase and use these filters for the foreseeable future!Be sure to boil the filter when you receive it any probably every two weeks after that. It's super easy to clean and will definitely save you money in the long run. Highly recommend this product!

For the eco-conscious individual
I am always on the lookout for ways to minimize my environmental impact (ordering things on Amazon aside, of course). This reusable coffee filter allows me to do just that: use something more than once, thereby reducing my carbon footprint. This item does everything you'd expect it to do, with the added bonus that you feel like you're helping the environment when you use it.
