Nice little heavy knife
I like this knife a lot. I could have bought a similar one from a competitor but I chose this one because it had a hole in the blade instead of a pin to aid opening the blade. I find the pin blades intrusive so I avoid them with other knives. The blade has a sharp concave edge. The knife looks solidly built. I think it might be too heavy as a small walk around knife. I keep it in the draw in my kitchen to use for opening packages that arrive from Amazon. The blade is short enough that it won't stab products inside the package. I could use a box cutter but it's not as sturdy for heavy boxes and this little knife is wayyyyyyyyyy cooler. Can't beat the price either. The handles (scales) are wood and could probably use a little finishing oil on them.

cuts like a razor knife
Not a whole lot you can say about a knife. however, i was pleasantly surprised at how small it was. it is well made, very sturdy and solid. it has a great weight and the over feel of it in your hand is good. the blade is very sharp, cuts like a razor knife (tested it cutting down some cardboard boxes). fits well in your pocket.

Close to loving it
1+ year update...This knife has held up very well. All of the out of the box modifications that I made have continued to make the knife very comfortable to use. Opening the knife did loosen up nicely over time. I still like it.Original review...It's 10 bucks, so you can't expect perfection. Out of the box I liked the stubby size and weight. And of course it's a cool looking knife. But, the wood scales' edges just felt a little too sharp (or square) in my hand. And the thumb hole also felt too squared off. It wasn't particularly comfortable on my thumb when opening. And finally, because it is so stubby, it was a little tough to fish out of my watch pocket where I'll keep it. (Geeesh! this guy is picky!)But it was just a $10 knife, so I wasn't worried about messing it up if I messed with it. I first sanded the edges of the scales to round them just a bit. Then I reamed out the thumb hole (giving the top of the blade a couple well deserved "character marks" when I wasn't being careful enough with the emery cloth). And finally, I added a little paracord pigtail lanyard. Now the knife feels great in my hand. The thumb hole doesn't dig into my thumb when I open the knife. (Opening is still a little stiff; but we'll work on that later.) And the pigtail lets me pull this stubby buddy out of my watch pocket with no effort. Once out and open the blade is more than adequate for most all daily knife tasks. If it had been like this out of the box it would have gotten all 5 stars.

Nice lil' Knife
I'm really impressed with the quality of this inexpensive knife. I have a slight obsession with knives and have to refrain from purchasing them but I've always wanted a small inconspicuous one.2 things that would've gotten this a 5 star review:1. it was extremely dull when I received it(luckily my husband grew up trapping and was used to sharpening knives with wet stones, we ended up having to buy them though, as we haven't had a need until now so there were added expenses outside of the purchase of the knife)2. I wish there was a Damascus option like the one in the pictures. All this to say, I love the little thing and my husband said it would've been a great skinning knife when he was younger. Thank you for the inexpensive addition to my small knife collection.

Bad ass little knife
Bad ass little knife worth every penny of that $9.90. Solidly built, heavy in the hand and fits perfectly in the watch pocket in jeans. Great little EDC I carry with a mini AAA flashlight.

Little knife with big heft reeks quality
Ok, this is a really substantial little knife. Real wood and hefty metal. It's surprisingly heavy for its size. I was carrying a little plastic shafted made-in-China thing which was lost. This knife is in a whole different league. At first I didn't like how heavy it was, but have come to appreciate its substance, solidity, sturdiness, and general feel of quality.

Comfortable and solid with good materials. Good quality for the price, overall.
Tasteful design and solid assembly. D2 blade material seems to be properly hardened. The knife needed to be oiled up in the hinge, and adding some oil into the wood scales made them look very nice too. Comes fairly sharp but you'll want to sharpen it some more on fine ceramics to get the edge you really want. 5 stars because the price is amazing. It's a 30-40 dollar knife for 10 bucks. It's not a large knife at all, but unfolded it is bigger than I expected. Very useful and very nice aesthetics.

Beautiful, small, substantial pocket knife
Beautiful small pocket knife. Very substantial weight; feels heavy in your hand. Appears to be precision made and hand assembled. Sharp blade; my blade has been etched to show the "grain" in the steel. The handle is made from a dark rosewood; the balance of the knife is stainless steel. These would make great gifts for anyone who wishes to packet/purse carry a beautiful and functional knife. I already have another coming in the mail.
