Great concept with too many extras, but very modular
I got part 2 because I enjoyed the first Ghostbusters Board Game so much. This version is built on the same basic game mechanics, but adds far too many features and additional rules. On the down-side, the additional stuff is pretty confusing, unnecessary, and just muddies the game up.On the up-side, the game is modular enough that you can just pretty much ignore the extra stuff if you want to and play it more-or-less like the first one. You can even mix the characters and enemies between the two (for the most part) with little to no difficulty. There are a good amount of errors and missing bits in the rule book, but again, if you can be flexible and strip away the extra junk, it's still a great game like the first one at its fundamental core. I recommend leaving out the event and equipment cards entirely, using all slime tokens as plain old "-1 action" (like part 1), and ignoring the scenario timer rule as well. If nothing else, it's worth it to get part 2 to have a load of new enemies to use in part 1.

First time playing this game, its so good
The game may take a few days to play, the instructions are kinda confusing. But after a few days, bustin ghosts made the game so much fun.All the mini's are beautifully sculpted, the washington square ghost upclose is massive along with the epic statue of liberty. The scenerios are fun and challenging. If you didn't like the simplicity of the first one, defiantly pick this one up.P.s. those who are wondering, the white numbers on the goo timer, you start on that white number, then tick it up if you have investigated a certain number of goo piles.Just trying to help.

Improved zombicide
Idw art style is awesome and the gameplay is a bit like zombicide. I really enjoy how there are missions linked together that you keep gear and exp.

Worse than the first one
Worse than the first one, still okay. Lots of misprints in manual and scenarios, corrections posted online. In need of homebrew rules to be enjoyable. It's possible to play with pieces from the first game (eg. when an event card summons a ghost from outside the scenario, you can bring in a galloping ghoul if you like). I liked the old character cards better; the new skills are meh... mostly just drawing equipment cards at level up. Can be played using the GBI character cards, starting out with 2 actions as normal (GBII use 3 actions and 2 maneuvers).

Great But
I am overall happy with the purchase. As a huge "Ghostbisters" fan this game is great, yet rather complex.I am disappointed that the sealed box did not come with parts that are necessary to play the game. This is not the fault of the seller but with the manufacturers. After a quick visit to the publisher's website, the process to remedy this has been started.

Game box was damaged but the shipping box was not and one of the pieces came broken.
This was a gift and in my option a very expensive game to come in the condition it came in.
