The coat looks nice and it's waterproof, so that's good. However, there are some things that don't really work or are just for decoration. For instance the breast pocket zipper is just a zipper - there is no pocket there. Maybe you could store a pencil, but it's really just for looks. Also the drawstrings at the hood and hem are decorative. They do not have elastic sewn throughout, so you are unable to cinch either the hood or the base of the coat. Finally, there are two pockets whose openings are not at an angle, they are parallel with the ground. So there's a good chance that they could fill up with water. Overall, this coat works fine and my son doesn't really care about the details, but it's definitely a little deceiving to have elements that are just for show and not functional.

I guess it fits as expected if your child is skinny and short as my 8yrs old (54lbs and 48 in). Reason I will be returning it is because the zipper is not easy to pull up. I struggled trying to pull it up and once I did I figured it would be too hard for my child to do it on his own.

Great basic rain jacket for my son to use for school. It folds up to fit in a backpack but is still sturdy. My son is a boys size 6-8 shirt so the 7x in the jacket was a perfect fit with a little room to grow. I wasn't sure about the look of the white zipper pocket on the front, but in person, it gives the jacket some style. My son likes it, which is even better.

I bought this item thinking that the dongle with the elastic at the waist would be functional, but it's not. Neither is the hood elastic. The pockets aren't angled so it's weird for my son to put his hands in when he's cold. It's a good material and fits him well but the functionality aside from it being a windbreaker and water resistant are not there.

This jacket is very nice in appearance and fit. My son absolutely loves his new raincoat. We live in a warm area so the lack of insulation is great for us. However this jacket is not for cold months.

We have ordered 5 jackets. Two boys and three girls. None of them disappointed. Great quality and strong pricing. Also some very nice designs.

I bought for my grandson. We were always getting caught in the Summer rain. It’s excellent quality!

Stylish coat but one of the ties broke off before my son even wore it so we had to cut the other one off for symmetry.
