Another piece of junk from China
Don't buy this endoscope. Spend a little more money and get one with its own display screen and permanent connector from the camera to the screen. Had I known this product was made in China; I would not have made the purchase. After many hours of trying to down load the software to my Android, OTG capable cell phone, I finally gave up and went to bed. I tried again the next morning and managed to get the software downloaded to my laptop so I had to disconnect my laptop from my external monitors, internet cable and usb connections to take my laptop out to my truck to look down the spark plug hole. The camera was not able to focus on the spark plug threads so this was all in vain. Lets talk about the very pathetic tiny scrap of paper used for the instructions. Most of the print is so tiny you need a strong magnifying glass to read and of course there is no mention of how to operate the functions of the camera or the software. The pictures used to show the steps to install the software have large dark numbers on the so you can't read the text. The Google app CameraFi does not function with this camera either. Lets not forget the pitiful USB connector. Some Chinese engineer must of thought they were smart to incorporate the micro USB with the larger size USB but the tiny metal between the two bends because the Camera cable is stiff to hold camera position but it bends the micro USB connector at the Cell phone. This happened to me once already and I'm sure after this happens a few times the connector will break off making the endoscope useless. I suggest using the adapter provided to use a micro USB port connection. Lastly the mirror connector for the end of the camera to look at things to the side has such fine threads that it is almost impossible to not cross thread them. I could go on but I think that more than enough to warn you about this bad product from China.

Awesome for the price
For an 18 dollar camera, this thing is awesome. I gave it 5 stars because for the price, it met and exceeded my expectations.Camera came with all its parts plus a CD.USB ConnectorThe USB plug is convertible USB 2 to Micro USB by flipping a small tab, so by nature its going to be a little delicate, but I feel that it is well made for what it is. Use common sense when using the camera. I made a small loop on the USB end and secured that to my device, that way if the cable was yanked, it wouldn't destroy the USB plug or socket.IMAGEI used this with my laptop, the software automatically detected my built in microphone and selected it for use with the camera, which made the image laggy, but as soon as I deselected the MIC. the Frame rate increased dramatically. The image quality was way better than I had hoped for.LED LIGHTSThe LED lights were more than adequate for the duty of this device.

MISSING PARTS. Cheap quality, does the job. AGAIN, MISSING PARTS.
When I opened the bubble mailer containing the box with the endoscope inside, the box was already open. It was SUPPOSED to come with 1 Mini USB, 1 Small hook, 1 Magnet, 1 Side view, 1 fixed set, and 1 handbook. The package is missing the small hook, the magnet, the side view, and the fixed set. Basically all I got in the package was the endoscope itself with the micro and USB plugin, and a mini CD, which I assume is the handbook. It does the job for the price. Low-quality video, but works for the price, if you're simply trying to get into a tight area to see where something is. A real shame that it was missing parts of the package.

It just works.
I didn't purchase the CLY Endoscope/Borescope for the purpose the manufacturer had originally intended for it to be used; however, the picture quality was quite impressive for my purpose and it dose the job I wanted and bought it for. I am doing a Hobbit PC build and needed to show the inside of my case in places that a regular camera wouldn't be able to accomplish very well. Tight corners and very close up. Lol! The only issue I had/have is trying to maintain a constant upright image. as your viewing angle keeps wanting to flip. Still, the camera wasn't made for my purpose use and I've managed to find workarounds that still accomplish my task quite adequately.

CLY Endoscope Borescope USB Type-C Waterproof Snake Inspection Camera
This thing is really neat. It is for all intensive purposes self actuating, you plug it in to either your phone or computer and you are able to then see behind things or under things that would normally be in accessible without a lot of expended effort.
