My favorite book ever. I have read it over 10 times. All that was true then, holds true for today. Timeless

Loved the fact that the book arrived earlier than expected! Helped my daughter's reading assignment go by much faster - she loves a "real" book versus the PDF version that distance learning had provided.

Book was was in poor condition and kept the pages kept falling out. I finally had to completely re-glue it back to get to keep from losing some of the pages. Cover was brittle and pieces kept breaking off.

This review is for the condition of the book not the stories within. I normally don't have a problem with old books. This book was smelly and unpleasant. After Lysol and airing outside it was still highly unpleasant. There should be a line drawn where a book is no longer pleasant to hold and read because it REEKS as in the literal scent of the book. Fuel for the fire.

Known to be a excellent book well before I purchased a copy and it was well worth doing so.

I love films and books about the Deep South. This was a fabulous read, cover to cover.

In useable condition, bit brown round the edges but perfectly readable.
