Made a legitimate and immediate difference
I had taken my manual Veloster in to get a new door after someone hit me in the parking lot. Once I got my car back it shifted terribly. As a side note I believe this was most likely caused by a technician at the auto shop I took my car to either hot running my car or driving it without knowing how to drive a manual transmission. The gear lever was very notchy and in sixth gear I had to slam it to even get it to go into sixth gear. So needless to say I was pretty worried about it. I had heard of prolong in the past and so I bought it and thought might as well give it a try. I put it in my transmission last night and after I got everything button back up a cycled through the gears with my foot on the clutch and then I took it for a quick trip down the highway cycling through all 6 forward gears and reverse. And I noticed an immediate difference now I'm driving it again today and it still feels better I think it feels better than it did last night so it seems like it may continue to improve my shifting experience. I'm very thankful that I tried this product and I suspect you will be thankful as well. As I'm driving right now cycling through the gears I'm noticing no spots where it feels like my lever is getting hung up I noticing no I'm hesitation as I fully engage the gear It feels more like it's getting sucked into place as opposed to having to force it into place

Worked surprisingly well
04 ram 1500 automatic transmission. I read about someone using prolong in a dodge forum and I tried it as a last resort to fix my hard shifting and disengaging problems and it worked. It shifts very smooth now. I removed 8 oz of trans fluid and poured it in. I will use prolong every time I change my fluid. It’s not a miracle in a bottle but it is very effective

Be patient with this it works!!!
1997 Dodge Diesel...Seriously, we employee a master mechanic with 35 plus years of experiance. He erviced the transmission in my transmission, adjusted belts changed filters and flushed the system. he also put a shift kit in it. Nothing was working I was in the market to buy a new transmision. I have had a lot of luck in the past with Pro Long products so I asked him iif it would work. He said it might and rolled his eyes. I though what the heck I have nothing to lose and everything to gain for $14.00. So I bought a bottle. I put it in the transmission and in about 15 minutes it mad a differance in the lower gears. I then drove to Eugene and the worst thing possible to me happened. As I was going through the mountain passes between Grants Pass and Eugene I started losing the passing or high gear at 55 to 65 miles per hour going over the mountain. I mean nothing the transmission just started spinning and lost all power. I was supper bummed. When I got back from Eugene I parket the truck for the weekend. We were out of riggs and I had to drive to Cave Junstion so I got in my truck and headded to cave junction. No Joke the transmission works perfectly now. I dont know if its just how long it took or what ever but wow. Its like I have a new transmission. I had read that it can take a bit or it all to work out and in this case it did. So if you use it I would say just be patient. This stuff is with out a doubt Amazing. Another product I found amazing is Steel Seel for head gaskets just an FYI. That one fixed my Subaru and was recomended by our Mechanic.

Great product
For some reason, not specified, Amazon refused to post my original review. Prolong products simply work. I can't apparently post anything more specific because it contains the personal experience which apparently constitutes personal information, such as my car make and model used to evaluate this product.

For manual transmissions with mildly worn synchronizers….
I currently drive a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6 coupe (6MT), and most of the gears are really notchy, with 2nd gear crunching and grinding sometimes, and 3rd gear locking me out occasionally at high revs. I plan to add this alongside using AC Delco (GM) Synchromesh friction-modified manual transmission fluid. I’m overfilling to nearly ~3.5+ quarts. With only 2.7-3 qts of non friction-modified OEM and other OEM equivalent Synchromesh fluids, I am still noticing crunching and grinding of 2nd and 3rd gear during cold starts/driving. It takes nearly 12-15+ solid minutes of shifting past 2500-3000 RPM, to get the gearbox and trans to properly warm up to proper operating temps.I will update this once I add it to my current mixture of MTF. I am currently running 2 qts of OEM Honda MTF, and 1 qt of AC Delco Synchromesh friction-modified MTF. I plan to fill the rest of the MT with this Prolong MT/AT additive, as well as topping it off with some OEM equivalent 75w80 GL4 MTF made for brass, like Valvoline, Penzoil, or Quaker State Synchromesh.

Much better
I am about 15k miles into a transmission / front differential change on my WRX STI, using OEM Subaru oil. I decided to add this because the synchros could use some help and it now shifts like butter. Much smoother engagement, easier to shift, and if you add this with your standard fluid change, it would make a world of difference.

Keep your engine running cool and smooth!
We have been using this in our vehicles for decades and twice at the end of there life they had little oil in the engine, but no knocking or overheating. We buy this by the gallon!
