When I first received my vest I just wore it around for household chores to get used to it. Those first couple days I wondered whether I picked the right weight, seemed too heavy. I have been healing from an ankle injury, and wondered if it was too much for my ankle. I finally started feeling more comfortable around the house, so I wore it on a short dog walk. My ankle felt a little sore, no big deal. Continued to wear it on longer walks, as much as my ankle could handle. I’m now walking 3-4 mi a day in it, and in general, I have a significant reduction in my ankle pain. Once it became the “norm” on my daily walks, when I forgot it, I would turn around and put it on. Now it feels weird to go on my walks without it. Fits nicely, weight feels balanced btn front and back. No chafing. I haven’t worn sleeveless tops with it yet, so that may change. It fits under my down vest, I’m in Denver, we wear puffy vests almost year round. 😂 highly recommend.

I recently purchased this weighted workout vest after discovering the significance of maintaining a Zone 2 heart rate for optimal fat loss. Zone 2 is all about finding that sweet spot where you can still hold a conversation, even if you're slightly out of breath. With this goal in mind, I aimed to boost my daily steps by walking on the treadmill or outside, incorporating both incline and the weighted vest for an extra calorie burn.I must say, this vest is incredibly comfortable to wear. The straps are perfectly positioned, providing a secure fit without any discomfort. The quality of the vest is impressive, giving me confidence that it will last through my daily workouts. Overall, I’m thrilled with my purchase and excited to incorporate this vest into my routine every day!

Put it on upside down first time (lol!). Not as easy to tell because the pocket is in the back. But once I finally figured it out, it worked well and was comfortable. Double checked the weight on my scale and it is 20lbs, as advertised. I'm using it to wear around during my daily activities as I train for the Appalachian Trail. It's great to use have the weight without having to put on a bulky backpack. Perfect or my needs and just what I was hoping for. I'm female, 5'5", 145lbs, and 61 years old, if that helps you decide what size to get for yourself and how it might fit you.

After trying two other brands, I've settled for this brand for good, it seems. I've bought the 20lb and the 25lb models. The 25lb model I've bought twice, because if you use it a lot for running and walking, it is absolutely possible to wear it out until it starts leaking sand. If you go for longer sessions and a lot of them, the friction will eventually grind a hole through the outer shell. The inner shell is very thin, so once the outer shell has a hole...the inner one will soon follow. For me, it probably took 120 hours of exercise before it happened.There's an easy trick to prevent this. The 2 bottom corners are your weak spots, where most of the friction is applied. I would buy super glue in spray form and spray it on those two sections before first use and spray it again after a few months. If you've seen that the corners are wearing thin already, you can use regular liquid super glue to seal them up again. On the photo, I've applied liquid super glue on the left corner, since it started leaking today.

I’m 5’2” and weight 120 lb. I opted for the 12 lb vest and glad I didn’t go heavier. Fits great on a small frame. Wore it on a walk with my dogs and definitely got a workout. I’m pretty fit and think this will tone my legs even more. No smell that I’ve noticed yet.

This is the first weighted vest I’ve tried so nothing to compare to. I’ve used it twice now and I like it. It appears to be good quality and it wears comfortably. As mentioned by others, it does have a strong chemical smell. I’m hoping that wears away as it is powerful and might make the best unwearable for some who are sensitive to odors. The mesh pocket on the back is useless in my opinion as you could not reach it at all with the vest on… and the vest is heavy so awkward to take off and on simply to get something from that pocket. Overall good and I’m sweating more/burning more calories on my usual walks.

Went with the 16 pound for first try and it's good. I do feel in the beginning until you get used to the weight, it pulls on the back of the neck some. The only other thing that was a slight drawback is I noticed all the women in the photos have flat chests and the strap goes right across the front of the breasts. If you have a size C cup and above, this is really uncomfortable. Also, wouldn't recommend wearing with a tank top. I found the vest rubbing into my upper arms to the point of irritation. Gives you one heck of a workout.
