Gibson Home Zen Buffet Porcelain Dinnerware Set, Service for 8 (40pcs), White (Embossed)

Bought to match an existing set. Arrived in perfect condition. Color is a little different and old set seems to have heavier embossing. However, matches well enough and I am very pleased with this purchase.

These dishes are perfect, exactly what I was looking for and a great price as well. I love the off white color with the pattern to create interest in the dishes themselves. The extra smaller bowls are a great bonus, too. Anyone that loves to cook will appreciate them.

When the dishes arrived, they were well packaged and none of them were broken. Unfortunately some of the dishes had imperfections including a sharp piece attached to the finish of a bowl and slight uneveness. I requested an exchange. The second set also arrived without any shipping damage, this set had fewer imperfections. My husband and I have used these dishes for over two years now. They have been both hand washed and gone into the dishwasher. The plates now have a more pronounced uneven, wavy appearance. The set is still functional, it just has more character. I like the various sizes of the plates and bowls. The set is microwavable and the simple white matches everything nicely. The set has a good weight, not overly heavy or light. They are also sturdy, very few dishes have broke. Overall, it is a good everyday set of dishes.

I agonized over what sort of new dishes to buy. These are wonderful. They have a good weight to them & are stackable. I love that now I also have matching pasta & dessert bowls!

I've had this dinnerware set for nearly five years and it's held up well with daily use. While we've experienced some chipping, cracking, and breakage over time, that's expected with any daily dinneware set. Overall, the durability and quality make it a great value for the price. If you're looking for a set that lasts through everyday meals, this one is a solid choice!

Excellent package—nothing was damaged, and it arrived quickly.

Color, weight and pattern are great and as expected. Did fine in the microwave. Packing was fantastic - not a single chip, crack or break (all pieces are in one box so VERY heavy). All the pieces looked fine out of the box but after I washed them several times in the dishwasher, I noted that several of the dinner and salad plates are warped (bowls are fine). I’m disappointed, and beyond the return window, as I didn’t think this would be an issue with Gibson. I won’t use them with guests but if I needed a set to serve a family with young kids, these are hands down a solid value (let them break the warped plates first?).
