Don't forget it is manual and and cheap
First and foremost, I love the look of it. Will look good in any kitchen, the vintage look just makes you want to use it.That part being out of the way, couple of things to point out, first being obvious.IT IS A MANUAL!!!! means you have to do the work! a few comments I have seen about these is that they want the look without doing the work, it is to hard. yeah, it takes work, but it makes your coffee taste better knowing you worked for it.yes, it is made in china, but still a great look, and so far great working product.biggest downfall is the size. It is smaller then expected, and the collection box does not hold much. 100 turns on the finest setting gets about 1 tablespoon worth. To be able to get enough to fill my Bialetti 5.7 moka pot, I have to crank it 300 times before i can start my coffee. I am sure one day I will get tired of it, but for now, i love it.Biggest mislead on this was the material. seems only the circular crank handle is metal, the rest is plastic. it does wobble around a little bit, but not much, and yes, the gears are plastic as well. but it turns smoothly. and the center post is metal, but the fill box is plastic but looks cast iron.Overall, if you don't mind a little extra work in the morning, and want something stylish in your kitchen, this one is the one to go for, and for the price, you can not beat it.

Great gift
My spouse loves things that will work when our electricity goes out (we get some storms here). He has already used it a bunch of times and loves it. Works great and at a really good price. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful
This thing is beautiful and makes for a great functional decoration. It works good but the plastic gears earn it a 4 star review.

looks and function
This product looks good and functions well. Be sure to adjust the grind setting before using. (see instructions)Frankly I got tired of having to buy an electric grinder once or twice a year, either because I would drop the plastic cap and break it or just wear it out from daily use. I have been grinding my own coffee beans for many years and even when I have to buy ground coffee because they were out of beans, I would still have to grind them further for my cappuccino machine.

Great for one cup at a time, until the gears get mashed
Update: Ordered a second one on 10/8 and it's 11/19. The plastic gears once again jammed and stripped. Knowing this was a possibility we were very careful in not forcing it when a bean made it slow down. It's sad it looks so neat but isn't worth the money if you can't trust the main action part of the equipment. Looks pretty but not worth it for grinding actual coffee beans. My husband has 2-3 cups of coffee a day. This was purchased as a fathers day gift June 2024 for him. We love the vintage look considering we didn't have the spare means to buy the original Italian version of this which is all metal for $400. The gears are PLASTIC. The rest of the housing is metal/cast iron (minus the woods base of course). From June 16, 2024 - October 8, 2024 this has worked great. It needed a little snugging up every so often but no big deal. Today (10/8) while grinding he noticed it was hard to turn and saw the top gear was all mangled and smashed together. Other than pushing it back on the counter we don't mess with it, and nothing really rattled around, so I can only blame this on the fact plastic should be used as the most important part of the machinery. We love the look of this and it works great up until this happened. We don't want an electric grinder, and I re-ordered another one of the exact same thing since it's Prime Deal day and I will have it tomorrow. However I will be on the lookout for an all metal version even if it is $400. At least that will last a life time.

Great as a novelty - plastic bar may break
I really like this thing as a novelty device. It looks cool and it does grind coffee (slowly). I didn't expect it to be super efficient or have a large capacity, but my main concern is that there is a bar holding the gears and the shaft connected to the grinding element together that takes all the force of these elements when in operation. This bar is made of plastic where the rest of the unit is wood or metal, and I can see it bending and flexing when I'm grinding coffee beans. It hasn't broken yet, but it's only a matter of time. I've taken measurements of it so I can 3D print a replacement part when it does fail, but it would really benefit the customer if the manufacturer would make this out of metal.

Molino
Ha Sido una experiencia muy placentera el poder graduar el tipo de molienda que necesito, escuchar los granos de café cuando se están moliendo, aparte de que es un hermoso diseño.

Nice Coffee Grinder, Indoor or outdoor,
I took it outside today where we were doing some work. The first complement I got was "Oh you got a real antique coffee grinder!" Yes, you will get involved in some conversations. We ground a few batches, coarse, medium and fine. We prepared coffee with a french press (That is all we had at that time) and yes, tasted fantastic too. For now, traveling you can use the box that it came with, it is a pretty strong box and will last for some time. But you will need to find a good box for it, if you are going to throw in the back of the truck like we do with our camping gear. It is pretty solid piece of work and we are looking forward to get good use of it.
