Affordable, portable, easy to use, amazing quality of light
This is how photography products should be. The surface area allows a very soft light, although there will be a bit of concentration in the center, it's still a huge area. I'm using it with a Godox DP600III-v light, and although the original reflector that comes with the DP doesn't really align properly to use with an umbrella, I found out that this is not really necessary, and the bare light inside this modifier will perform very well (even for the modelling lamp, although it's not strong enough to really work as a constant light, it can be helpful to achieve focus and plan the light position. This umbrella gives a very good result for half body shoots, or even full body if the model is sitting, for example. It's super easy to setup, it comes with a ziper at the bottom so you can go through the stand and also pass any cables, the velcroed diffuser is easy to put together. My only wish is that it would come with a grid, this would make it perfect. Other than that, I can't think of anything bad to say about this product.Very often, Godox comes up with some very affordable while excellent products, and this is probably the best example of such.

Surprisingly good for the price
I was looking for a fairly large softbox that I could assemble reasonably quickly on location, without having to scrabble-around messing about with rods and housings. So I thought I'd go for an umbrella-style softbox. I also wanted to be able to fit three speedlights into it, using a three-way adapter that would fit on the central rod inside the softbox, rather than trying to get the speedlights to peer into a hole at the back.So when I saw the low price of this piece of kit, I thought, why not? If it turns out to be rubbish it's not a big deal. But it's surprisingly good. Sturdy, everything fits properly as it should, it's solidly constructed, and the materials are good quality.I've tested it indoors and the results are as good as I could hope for.

Great bit of kit - gives a nice large and soft / even light ideal for portraits. Also gives a nice catchlight in the eyes. It is very well balanced when on the light stand, which in turn makes it really stable - certainly compared to my large 'square' flash softbox that is quite topple-prone.Definitely recommended, and at the price is a bit of a steal. Bear in mind you'll need a swivel or other means to mount your flash / speedlight, this is just the softbox.

This is Big!
I ordered this on a weekend evening and it was delivered by lunch time the following day. Excellent delivery and well packaged. I was doubtful about the build & light quality for such a low price but I was wrong. Easy to setup and pack away. A Velcro/stud strap to keep the brolly closed when not in the bag(no strap on bag either) would have been a nice finishing touch but nothing major. The Velcro on the diffuser is about half the width of the Velcro inside the wall of the brolly which I've found makes attaching the diffuser easier and quicker. Velcro and stitching seems good. Have yet to try it outside in any strong breezes. The light is less specular than I expected as most of these type of light modifiers are specular.

Big octabox, great value and easy to use and transport
Light weight, easy to put up and attach. Really softens light for portraits and is directional. However, the degree of tilt is limited - fit on a boom arm and you'll be fine.

Godox a secret every photograph should know.
Godox is one of those secrets photographer need to get to know. This softbox is well build and easy to use. Packs down quickly to fit into it's carrying sleeve. So much easier to use than a conventional softbox and very portable.Single rod in the middle for mounting, can be used with speedlights with an additional mount or studio strobes fit inside if they can hold an umbrella.Looked after right it will last for years to come, but if it does get damaged on location it's 10s of pounds not 100s.

The central pole of the softbox was not strong enough ...
The central pole of the softbox was not strong enough to withstand the pressure, after barely any use the softbox pole snapped whilst out on a location photoshoot for a client, leaving me in a very difficult position without a modifier. Contacted Duoda , with photos and they only offered £5 to repair the pole - which was pointless as its not strong enough in the first place, and it wouldnt have covered the cost of busfare to take to a place to repair. They have since ignored all communication. Unacceptable
