Seemed to work.
Our family of five all used these bottles in our travels around Latin America and we didn’t get ill. I can’t say it was because of these bottles, but it made us feel more confident. The bottles also made the water in airports taste better. I don’t regret ordering it.

Love It
Very high quality, but I bought it for a specific purpose, to get rid of microplastics in my water. I used to buy bottled water thinking it was so healthy, wrong. Tons of microplastics in plastic bottles. The LifeStraw is one of the few ways to filter out microplastics besides a reverse osmosis filter system. You could even fill this thing with lake water or worse and it would still filter out biological, chemical, and plastic toxins. A bonus is that the company donates some percentage of their water bottles to countries where clean drinking water is not available, but then again, is there really clean drinking water around anywhere anymore.

Great Water Bottle
The structure and the body of the bottle itself feels sturdy. Quite hefty, don't know if it's a good or bad thing. It's a bit bigger than your normal 1 Liter vacuum bottle for sure. Just depends on your preference. No leaks as well. My only very very tiny complaint is that I always end up throwing a bit of water out. The straw doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle, and I end up throwing about a shot of water left over that the straw cannot reach.

Love this water bottle
I was influenced by a YouTube personality that does international and domestic road travel to purchase. It has been the greatest decision for me. I wanted a container that I could fill while working my 8 hour shift. It’s sturdy, the lid is easy to hold and open, and the straw takes a bit more suction, but nothing too much. The taste of the water through the filter itself is delicious and it helps me to drink the recommended amount of water that I aim to consume while at work. The cleaning is fairly easy. I clean it at the end of my work week, which also allows me to shake off any excess water in the filter to air dry until the next work week. I believe it was/is a great purchase.

Great filter bottle
I took it to Zimbabwe. Generally, it’s not safe to drink out of the tap. Even locals drink bottled water there. I could fill this bottle from the tap and drink with no problems. Worked great.

Amazing
I put this baby to the test and took it to India… truly an awesome product that gives me great confidence to be able to drink from anywhere. Those who have done this type of travel will know that acquiring clean water can at times be a big concern; even the bottles you get at the store can be refilled and recapped, and constantly boiling little pots gets old fast. At first I purchased a lifestraw, but it wasn’t as practical for daily use. I’m so glad I found this! A true lifesaver.Cons:- 100% will spurt all over you unless you pop it while changing altitude- due to the design, it does take a bit of suction to pull from the straw even after rehydratingPros:- you won’t get sick from drinking water: priceless- no need to change flyer for a very long time

Great product
I bought this for a 5 week trip to East Africa and am so glad I have it. I was worried it would be too big but it’s not bulky at all and the capacity is great. I like that it doesn’t look like a filtration bottle, so I don’t stand out….as much. This will be a travel essential for sure.
