I don’t know what kind of sorcery witchcraft or chemicals are in this product by Catrice but it works, and I can’t say it any more clearly than that. When I touch up my make up after working 10+ hours, I’m a little bit shiny and I will use a dry beauty blender and I dab it into the cloudy gel type product and just dab on my face and as soon as the beauty blender hits a shiny spot it is eliminated. Within seconds, you can take away all the shine, but leave the glow and not look way too matte! I wish I could tell the whole world about this stuff because I think it cost less than five dollars and it’s better some of the other products that cost much more money and we’re big disappointmentsNo doubt about it. This is no disappointment here I am going to include a photo. I have all my skin care on in the photo, half my face will be dabbed with the Caprice shine eliminator, I think I made up that name, lol and the other half well you’ll be able to see in the photo. Do yourself a big favor if you’re an oily girl and you don’t wanna touch up with powders all day long, this will be your new best friend.You can clearly see in the photos that the right side is completely matte still maintaining a glow.On the left side, you can see that it is super oily/very shiny which is the way my complexion looks some days because I use so much hydration and so little powder but now I found the perfect fixI went ahead and took a photo for y’all of the product! This product is a magic gel…or powder…or I don’t even know what to call it. As someone who doesn’t wear make up but does need to be on camera for work this little compact is a quick and handy way to quickly look put together and not like a sweaty pre-pubescent middle schooler after gym class.

It handles the shine on the skin somewhat. If I compare it to a powder though, it is more subtle and I do have to apply it more often. It would work best in dry climate and in colder months. For the summer in a humid environment it is not enough for my normal skin.

The fact that this product is as cheap as it is should be a crime! I have combination/oily skin and I’ve never found a product that mattifies and blurs like this does. I use a make up sponge to dab on top of make up or tinted moisturizer and it lasts all day. Highly recommend!

Returned. Yes it mattered. But it also took off my makeup underneath. You constantly have to put the most minimal product just to matting and have your makeup underneath come off. If you pick up too much chunks come off on your face or stay on your makeup tool. Overall disappointing. I wanted this to touch up and although I was mattered it screwed up my makeup tool and my makeup underneath. Returned.

I bought this after seeing a YoUTube video which I 100% did not believe, and I was SHOCKED with the actual results. It it truly an amazing product. I have very oily skin and this created a much better texture than my usual (extremely expensive) translucent powder. I came back here to buy more for my travel make up bag. I’m also sharing with my BFFs - both guys and girls!!

Ok ok... saw this on TikTok and thought let me try it.I absolutely love it!I have combination skin. Oily in the T zone so needing that Matte look there. But I'm 42 and dryer around the eyes. So fine lines ... and powder settles.This stuff rocks! I pressed it all over my face ! Even around my eyes! Amazing! And does not settle!Just wow!Yes do I still have fine lines... yup... but it doesn't have that build up look when I use powder.Disclaimer. I am no pro at makeup. I'm just your average mom who quickly applies a few products.

It does remove the shine right after make up application. I am yet to try couple of times more to see if causes any skin issue. Just hard to see how much is going on the brush
