I like the fact that I can take this with me everywhere. Good size and works well. Also when the screws vibrated out for the clip from my weed whacker running against the pen all day the company replaced the entire pen free of charge. I recommend.

Smaller than the average pen and it comfortably fits into my pocket organizer. It also operates and writes smoothly. If you're looking for an EDC pen then this fits the bill perfectly.

The ink cartridge went out in less than a day, but the pen itself is nice and sid. The mechanism is fun to click and works very smoothly

I did quite a bit of research prior to purchasing this pen.First off; you'll use this primarily as a writing implement. Avoidance of trouble is your best defense. That being said, it can also be usedfor last ditch self defense.At first I thought I needed a pen of at least 6", but those were heavy, clunky and not EDC.The big problem with those offerings that have all those gizmos is that they are too large, heavy and draw conspicuous looks. Try getting those spikes through TSA and let me know what happens. LOL!This item on the other hand is a 4.5" pen,; but a very well finished, and ruggedly constructed one.It can break glass, and yes in the right hands can do a world of physical damage to an assailant.Oh, did I mention it takes Space Pen cartridges and writes beautifully?I paid the price of $32.00 for this item.on Amazon(Disclosure)

The hole in this pen where the ink cartridge comes out is unevenly machined. Wife and I bought/were gifted five of these pens, and some would accept replacement cartridges while others were too small, which was disappointing. Besides that, they are nice and wide and we like the retraction mechanism, which makes it unlikely to open up in your pocket or otherwise unintentionally.

Lovely pen! Works great! I bought it for my EDC belt pouch because of its length being shorter than a regular pen but works like a full sized pen.

I like the bolt-action tactical pens, because I tend to fidget, and they're fun. They're also a good everyday carry pen. Most tactical pens are way too large to even think about carrying around everyday (just try getting one on a plane), but this one is just the right size!

I purchased this pen to be part of a little EDC kit I put together. Leather wallet, multi tool, flashlight and lighter along with the pen. To me if something is described as “tactical” that should mean durable/rugged. This pen didn’t survive two days in my front pocket before it quit working. I work in a very hot environment and tend to sweat. My sweat killed the pen.I gave it two stars because the pen feels, and looks nice. When it did work it wrote well and fluidly. I can and probably will get a replacement cartridge for it, but It will live out the rest of its life in a drawer and not my pocket.
