The tent is a substantial piece of kit, exactly what I wanted, especially with the weather here in the west of Scotland.It requires two people to put it together and erect it, although some additional weight around the skirt was needed as it was erected on top of my decking, this negated the need to use the supplied ground pegs.The only downfall was the quality of the fixing bolts, I found that some threads stripped relatively easy, and I had to purchase an additional amount of similar size bolts when erecting the tent for the second time.All in all I am of the opinion the tent offers good value for the money, and will use it again in the near future due to the present circumstances with the in place Covid-19 restrictions.

Great marquee, 8x5, used for a garden party. Easy to put up (better two people but possible with one), very sturdy and great value for the quality.

I once had a double erect-in-one-fell-swoop marquee but it came without guy wires and the wind took it soaring, and trying to right it, mangled it; it is now Recycled in Peace. I wanted something to last for garden parties, and decided on House of Tents, in Germany, which does business under another name there.I almost rated it 5 stars but the instructions are really poor in English. Don't put one side of legs on before the top. Do the top first. We did as instructed, and as the top was not perfectly on the center line we had to pull awkwardly and it ripped at a seam. Otherwise it is of sturdy quality and the material is excrllent. All the listed bits were there - no extras though, so count carefully on arrival. Having said that, there could be more stakes included so you could use all the stakeholes around the bottom. I put the top frame together myself, not a problem, and my two sons helped me to finish it. Take care to have the window panels with the bottom flaps out, for staking inside and out. The guy wires are rudimentary but held - practice your half hitch. One end panel has a double zipped door, the other a single (back) door, so be mindful of that when erecting. We got the 4m X 10m because it is easier to find floor mats; in the end we got a 4x4 mat and a 4x6 mat. This marquee was good for 60 people and a DJ, but we really didn't test it because it didn't rain. At the end of summer when we will take it down, I will get the storage bags from the company's website because there is nothing left of the original cardboard containers.

Purchased for a 50th birthday party to house the catering guys for serving food… it is a fantastic product. The two tone colour scheme looks lovely and exactly as illustrated. The materials are of a high quality and designed for long term use. We would highly recommend this product for your garden whether it’s a party or permanent for patio furniture

Sturdy product. Looks beautiful when assembled and in my garden. Protection from the sun and rain guaranteed. Enough space for up to 50 guests. My guests loved it and wondered where I got the product from. I'm sure will last a lifetime if properly stowed away when not in use. Need to store away and protect the steel materials from rust especially during the winter and cold months of the year.

I have only had this tent for about 4 months and it has splits and holes appearing everywhere.What would this tent be like in one years time?Im writing to the suppliers now. Not pleased at all considering this was there toughest and thikets tent.UPDATE 26TH April 2005I have since spoken to the supplier, and i must say they were excellent in helping me and gave me a refund, so because of the great after sales service im giving a 3 star. I think i was simply unlucky to get a one off bad tent, and i truly thank the suppliers for their great understand and cooperation.

I am extremely disappointed with this product. Upon receiving it, I noticed that several parts were damaged, making it unusable right out of the box. I contacted customer service hoping to resolve the issue, but instead of offering any helpful assistance, they sent me an invoice charging me more than the actual cost of the product! To make matters worse, the product itself is clearly not durable. After only a short time of use, it started showing signs of wear and tear. Overall, this has been a frustrating and costly experience. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

The marquee was easy to put up and had clear instructions (you can download them from House of Tents website). We had a few poles missing but they were sent immediately, even though we were over the timeline! Great customer service and very helpful - would definitely recommend them.
