Leaked even though it was brand new
I bought two of these and each of them had a clear plastic o-ring inside instead of the orangey red one that comes with the original. Although it solved the problem with my coffee maker, I had to take the seal from the original and use it with this to keep it from leaking. It would be good if it came with a silicone seal that actually worked
